The Ramblings Of A Nameless Mob

"A fool to the very end. Alright, with that everything has been settled. Now for our guests outside." He said in a relaxed tone that no one would believe the past events even occurred.

Asier's gaze stared beyond space. His eyes didn't even change or show any signs of techniques activating. Just with his normal power, he saw the astronomical amount of war fleets, individuals, and all manner of advanced technological constructs. Just waiting in 'The In Between'.

"Ava, why are they just standing there… menacingly?" Asier asked in a confused expression.

"From my analysis, they believe it's too dangerous to fight you in open space. From the outcome of the battle with the piggies just now. They know you're practically invincible inside universes, so they believe the only way to kill you is to fight you outside of them."

"Ah, so cut off my source, and make it into a battle of attrition."

"Yes, Lord, but the real reason is to force out all of your forces. So they can wipe them all out in a single battle. Although they don't know the real capabilities of the machines right now. The masterminds probably judged the machines we've created can pose a threat to their rule. Of course, they will never admit it, so they will use some lame excuse like they've broken the balance of the Multiverse or something. And has labeled them as a Must Destroy Target. And by the off-chance they still lose, the masterminds can interfere directly. Since 'The In Between' is not bounded by any rules."

"Thought so, so they want to see my forces do they. Well, I'm pretty sure they also want to meet them. Hahaha… this is going to be great." Asier couldn't help but laugh by the sheer joy he was experiencing at the moment. "This will be the first time that many in my legions, my army, will be able to fight freely without the worry of destroying their surroundings."

Just Imagining the battle to come, Asier couldn't help but have high expectations.

"Ava, send the command, all those who meet the basic requirements, may take part in the fun."

From these simple words, absolute chaos was about to be unleashed.

[Hehe… As you command my lord.]

In not even a zeptosecond, the message was sent out to the forces inside the Multiverse. Even the Obsidian Knights who heard the order directly, couldn't contain their excitement, and for the first time. The solidified Galaxy under them started to crack from the simple emotion they exuded. They're about to fight alongside their creator after a few years of his absence. There could be no greater fun for them than this.

"Ava, are there any new forces that have reached the Primordial level on their own yet?"

"Actually there are, theirs not many, but using the 'Store' we created. They were able to augment their powers to become True Primordials. One is from an insect universe, the ultimate protector of the ant nation. He became good friends with the Universe Sentinels of that universe. He wanted to broaden his horizons with this fight. The other one is someone we're familiar with. We accidentally ended up in her prison space the primordial gods imprisoned her in. The girl that was cursed by fate. Now free from it. She wishes to fight by your side this time."

Asier had a pleasant smile on his face, "She really worked hard, I can't wait to see how far she's grown."

"Next are…" Ava kept speaking until she stopped after listing a few individuals.

"That's it, my Lord. They all worked hard to get to this point. But my Lord, even if their Primordials, in a fast pace battle like this…."

"It's ok, I'll watch over them. It's not like they can die, this will be a good experience for them. My machine army can basically handle themselves."

Asier got off the galaxy chair as he looked at the destruction around him and thought. 'For a test that lasted less than ten minutes, while they were holding back, the damage was impressive'. As his gaze landed on the machines before him.

"Obsidian Knights, no… my Machine Army. Are you ready?" Asier said in a relaxed tone, but it carried absolute authority within it. As he talked directly to the 'Void Nexus'.

""""""""WE ARE AT YOUR COMMAND!"""""""" A myriad of voices responded.

Finally, the Galaxy couldn't resist the shear stress it was under, as it exploded outwards. Not even a single ripple of the explosion could bypass these beings' range of influence. And for a moment their surroundings were as bright as the light of the Sun, as it cast the shadows of those present for a second, dispelling the void of darkness they were in.

"Very well. Let us go have some fun."

He waved his hand, all the destruction, all the chaos from the test before, disappeared without a trace. As if everything was a lie.

He stared beyond the boundary.

"Let us go greet our guests," Asier said with a calm smile on his face.

*** Inside 'The In Between'***

Hello everyone, my name is Mob Number 1. No point in remembering my name, since I'm probably am going to die in the coming hours. Yes, this is the life of a mob or cannon fodder, whichever you prefer. Anyway, let me get you up to speed on what's going on right now. I was born in the Stoz'eix Universe. The dominant race that rules here are called the Soilae, humanoid Octopi, which is what I am. We are a species that gains power from our racial traits, and of course, our advanced technology. Our neighboring universe, the Thilnill Universe, is much the same as ours, but the race that rules there are lava plant creatures called Ceakarus. We get along just fine, we've long put our differences aside. We've evolved to the point where even regular citizens can become Nova class, while the common soldiers can attain Attractor level strength. And those who are the most loyal to the gods can become true Primordials.

Together we have conquered many universes in the Multiverse. Right now we rule over hundreds of thousands of them. It may seem a lot, but when you compare it to the infinite number of universes, it's not many. This was the result of billions of years of conquest, and of course our backing. We've both worked hard to become type 5 civilizations, the highest a civilization can become. And the reason for that is really simple, the presence of 'The Gods Sphere'.

The True Rulers of the Multiverse.

The God Sphere encompasses the entirety of the Multiverse. Of course, there will always be those that resist, but they don't last long. The Multiverse is littered with the ruins of all those who've tried.

In the beginning, we also had thoughts about rebelling but those thoughts were quickly extinguished. The thing you need to know about us is our civilizations rely too heavily on religion. In the past, it wasn't like that. When we were nothing more than type 0 civilizations. Back then, we were playing with nuclear energy, trying to figure out how to harness gravity. Yup, those were the days.

As for our neighbors, I believe they were trying to find a way to control the rings of fire on their planet. Don't ask me why.

But then, they showed up and everything changed.

An emissary of the heavens reached out to us. She said she worked for the Cosmic God called Des'tra. The same happened to the neighboring universe at the same time. Their emissary was sent by the Cosmic God Faestra. Of course, at the time, we didn't know the Primordial Gods who were supposed to defend our universes were already slaughtered. Let alone our earth gods, they didn't stand a chance.

And like the ignorance of children, we evolved with their guidance. Along the way, there were the few planets that tried to resist. Yet, they couldn't change anything other than turning into examples for others. Their will taken from them, as their egos were trapped inside their own bodies. Trapping them in a state of suspended animation. They were merged into their planets, turning them into collective abominations known as 'Enforcers'. They were classified as Galactic, and when they combined with others, they could easily become Primordials. The ones who wanted to free their homes the most were now turned into the ones who oppressed them the most.

These events are then engraved into our genetic chain in a way no one can remove, as future warnings. Even to this day, people who think about resistance will scream from these nightmares.

This is the fate to all who dare to resist Des'tra and Faestra.

The majority of the civilization faithfully serves and believes no matter what they do, it's all for a greater cause. I won't go into detail with those kinds of people, since you could probably guess how they turned out. Let's just say over 90% of the citizens believe they are the chosen race. And our neighboring Universe ain't much better.

No one knows how many inhabitant 'The God Sphere', but these two are the ones that rule us.

Now you know at least some history about us. And you're probably wondering why were here? Well…
