The Start Of The Downfall

It all started when some Enforcers in the universes under our control simply vanished. Of course, this alerted everyone, we tried every possible method in tracking them down, but we came up empty. Then strange rumors about strange sightings of unknown machines started appearing. But the higher-ups could never confirm these sightings since they always disappeared.

Two days didn't even pass before it got really bad, thousands of our universes got invaded at the same time. But this time the machines didn't disappear. That's when it finally hit everyone, we were at war. This was the first time in our billions of years of conquest that a civilization actively attacked us. At first, no one believed it. I know I didn't. Who would be crazy enough to attack us? We were backed by two Cosmic Gods from The God Sphere.

They straight out slaughtered everything in their way, there was nothing our forces could do. These machines were only at the Peak Attractor level, yet they were able to kill Primordials single handedly. Our Soilena fleets were hijacked like their defenses didn't even exist.

For the record, our Soilena fleets are no pushovers. An entire Soilena fleet can be classified as Primordial +. They consist of thousands of warships but the most powerful of these warships are call Bio-Metalea Destroyers. Their shields can withstand multiple hypernovas to the face without even shaking. And yet, these Armageddon-type fleets were simply turned against us.

Warship: Bio-Metalea Destroyer

Type: Galaxy Cluster Destroyers

Cosmic Blessings: ???, ???

Size: Roughly 52,850 light years in diameter, for the unintelligent that's as big as the Milky Way. Can shrink as small as 1.6 km in length. The size of USG Ishimura.

Summary: Created from a bio-type of living metal fused with dark matter. It can regenerate as long as there's 25% of the ship remaining. It can grow more powerful from the flesh of its enemies. Since the ship is a type of living organism, the user can install it with various abilities of the fallen.

Attack Potency: Has enough armaments to level Galaxy clusters.

And we still couldn't even destroy one of them. There were multiple times when we were close, but their regeneration was simply foul play, and their adaptability was simply too crazy. Adding insult to injury, they hacked into our neural networks stealing most of our technology. And we still didn't know who was behind these attacks. Even when we tried to communicate with them, they wouldn't speak.

We could no longer withstand their rapid and precise onslaught anymore. It was obvious to all at this point that they've been eyeing us this entire time. And no one even knew.

Meanwhile, I was on vacation thinking to myself, hopefully, my vacation won't be canceled.

In less than a year. We already lost over 30% of the universes we once ruled.

The Gods eventually had to intervene, sending their emissaries to help us. We weren't as ignorant as we were before. At this time, we knew just how powerful they were. They were peak Primordials. The limit of what most Universes can withstand. But what made them terrifying existences were the abilities and equipment they wielded. That practically made them unkillable. Even with our type 5 technology, we couldn't even identify what they were made of. They went deep behind enemy lines. The thought of them losing never even crossed our minds.

We all thought victory was at hand, they would just annihilate the opposition. But the results, no one could believe it. The emissaries that we all thought were invincible.

Simply vanished.

It was exactly like the time when they kidnapped the Enforcers, completely untraceable.

Everyone was completely dumbfounded. The epic battle, the complete annihilation that was supposed to happen. And yet, all they did was poof out of existence.

At this time everyone was completely terrified. I know I was. Waiting for the retaliation that was to come.

But nothing happened.

The attack everyone was expecting never arrived. Even till this day, the machines still occupy those universes. No one knows why they stopped. So maybe those emissaries did do something.

And now we're at the present. And I know what all of you are thinking.

I did lose my vacation.

Why, whyyy~!! I worked hard to get those three months! Anyway, sorry I lost it back there, now back on topic.

Not too long ago we received orders from our gods to kill someone. Asier, the man that has been causing waves the past years. Yeah, at this time everyone knows it's this guy behind those machines.

He went missing a few years back, but he just turned up not too long ago. Too many rumors have been revolving around this man. But the one that caught everyone's attention was this one. It's been rumored that he and his two wives managed to not only survive, but kill someone from The God Sphere. That's a cosmic-level threat you know… that has never been done before. Or maybe it has, who knows, we're only in one sector of the Multiverse. Who knows what's going on in the others. Many don't believe it, some say it's nothing but lies. I am one of the few who wants to believe it. I mean there will finally be someone to fight these assholes in The God Sphere. Hopefully, they can kill our gods first. I mean, an octopi can dream right.

Ah shet, my blood curse is acting up again. Foo… deep breaths. Ok, I'm all good.

Oh, by the way, I don't think I ever told you what class I'm in. Well… I don't want to boast or anything but I'm actually a Cosmic level threat....

Ok, ok, I'm just playing. I'm really just a lesser Primordial. Not strong, but at least not weak either. I wish I was though, but most people will never reach that level, after all. No one knows how to become one. Our Gods never told us, so that's nothing but a dream. What we've figured out on our own is that you at least have to be a Cosmic level threat to access The Gods Sphere. I heard there are other ways to access it, but you simply won't have enough strength to stay alive.

But in the battle to come, I'm getting this ominous feeling. Like the type of inescapable doom, like lesser Primordials like me will only be cannon fodder in this battle. Sigh… right now I just want to turn tail and run. With his machines alone he was able to demolish us. He didn't even show up at that time and we still lost horribly. And now we're about to fight the man himself.

This is completely crazy.

What are our gods even thinking? There's simply too little information about him. Have they not heard of the other rumors about him? Sure, 'The In Between' can restrain the links of individuals. But he's the inventor of the God Battery, who knows how many he has. How long will we have to whittle him down before he gets exhausted? Shit, we're the ones who are going to burn out first. Is this really their master plan?

Do they think inviting everyone he's ever offended to this fight will even matter? What is inviting more ants going to do? Great, we can all bite at his ankles.

What a brilliant plan that is… wahoo~.

Oh, wait, if we believe the rumors and you know I do. How are we even going to bypass his defenses that can even resist Cosmic threats?

Well… that's great, fucking fantastic, now we can't even bite at his ankles.

Sigh… I just want to go home.

"Vice-captain, vice-captain I'm talking to you."

"Ah, Yes, Captain I'm here."

"Pay attention, Asier's battle with Elishem's group is almost done."

Right now I'm on a bio-cosmic type warship we received from our gods. That's right, this warship is classified as a cosmic-level threat. We have surrounded the universe-sphere Asier is in, with as many forces we were able to muster up. It's about 9 septillion times XXX, anyway it's a shet ton. Currently, the cosmic god of Elishem was in command, as one of its subordinates was given orders. We've received orders to stay at our positions until ordered otherwise. I'm guessing Asier surviving the ambush was unexpected, since even our Gods were surprised by it. Maybe they also had a hand in it… scratch that they definitely did. It's already been over ten minutes and Elishem's group is getting rekt by Asier alone.

Hum, wonder why he doesn't summon his machines for help? Maybe it has something to do with Elishem's god blocking the universe-sphere?

Why are we not helping them? Well, Elishem's god told us not to intervene. Supposedly the weapon he gave Elishem has enough power to kill him. But from what I'm seeing, he's lying through his ass crack. They have been systematically killed and that weapon still hasn't done diddly squat. Yup, there go's Elishem getting killed by his own weapon that poor Nebulord.

Yup, I'm still not feeling safe right now. The warning our gods gave us is still ringing in my ears.

'Prepare to sacrifice much'.

When I heard that, I wanted to cry. Even our gods recognize this man as a threat. Why the hell are they not here to help us themselves. I guess giving us a shiny new battleship was all they needed to do. Crap, blood curse again.

The captain of the spaceship spoke in a furious tone, "Fucking useless. They could have at least exhausted him even more. They literally accomplished nothing. Now we're going to have to do all the work."

While he was talking to himself, I was still watching the screen. Suddenly all the destruction from the battle just now disappeared. As Asier turned his sights in this direction. No! Not this way, anywhere but here. I screamed in my heart. Even though he wasn't looking at me, I almost inked myself.

"What the hell is going on!?" the captain yelled out.

Then, in a blink, Asier disappeared. Reappearing alone in 'The In Between' a couple of light years away from us.

"Haha, this poor bastard left the safety of the universe-sphere all on his own. Saves us the trouble of going to get him. Hahaha!"

At that moment, only two words left my mouth. "We're fucked."
