The Video Call (pt. 1)

I'd been pacing in my room for the past three hours in my towel, trying to figure out ways we'd managed to get a legal marriage certificate somehow. As soon as I'd left Sabrina's room, I returned to mine and dialed the county clerk. Nobody answered, of course, because it was too early in the morning and they weren't opened. This just added to my confusion because how were they closed at this hour of the morning but were open late at night?

'You should sue them for such an atrocity.'

Did I really have grounds to sue? Sure I walked in there drunk off my ass with my best friend, ex, and his girlfriend in tow, but they'd been the ones who let us go through with it, so why wouldn't I have grounds to sue? This was too serious to ignore.
