The Decision (pt. 1)

Throughout the entire date, we kept seeing flashes of camera lights through the windows of the restaurant. From the moment we'd walked in, people had been looking at us and whispering behind their hands. Obviously, they knew who we were. Anyone who was anyone was talking about our incident and I was sure that they were all doing their own individual digging. Even the restaurant staff had looked at us all night, and as soon as we'd sat down, Jason and I knew that we couldn't afford to even mention something unpleasant to one another whilst we were here because everyone was watching us like hawks.

"Open," I held out my spoon for Jason to try my lava cake, which was absolutely delicious, by the way. Considering I didn't know what else to do, we'd resorted to feeding each other dessert, which was probably overkill, honestly, considering the fact that we had both gotten the same damn thing. But it seemed to be satisfying our viewers, so we kept it up.
