Author Note——
Ok, first, I have to clarify a few things before more people get confused.
First, his semblance.
The semblance doesn't enlarge or makes the sword grow.
What it does, is that project the cut of the blade as far as he can see, with the cut being limited to what the sword can do.
But it successfully expands his range by a lot.
Again the blade remains the same; all the semblance does is project the cutting edge of his weapon, as far as his eyes can see.

Now, about his power, I know some of you like unbeatable mc, but he's not.
He's powerful, very powerful, but his not the strongest in this world yet.
He reached a wall on his training, one that he needs to surpass fighting stronger foes.
—————————-
Alright, that was all, enjoy!
————————————————————
After killing the Deathstalker, we continued our search for the piece we needed.
"How did you got so strong?" Pyrrha inquired.
"I trained a lot, bringing myself close to the other world... but I reached a limit... one that I can't surpass fighting beasts," I chuckled, as I cleared my throat.
"And Beacon offers you that, I suppose," Pyrrha nodded in understanding.
"In a way, for example, I'm sure I can beat any student in Beacon, but I have yet to see if I can match the masters..." One of the reasons I joined was to grow stronger, while I was proud of my strength and what I accomplished alone, I wasn't stupid enough to think I was at the top, not that it mattered I would soon climb that ladder and position myself above all, but for now, I had to nurture my power and battle experience.
Before Pyrrha could answer or add something to what I said, she is interrupted as a screech is heard from above, Pyrrha looks at me, to find my grinning, a nevermore. Pyrrha chuckled as she dashed following the beast close by
"Ruby!" Pyrrha waved at her.
"Yo!" I smiled, rushing past Pyrrha.
Ruby was standing up in the branch of a tree, looking at the monster above flying by, "Whoa!" she jumped off of the branch and landing in a roll.
"Hey Ruby," I smiled at her, stopping beside her
"Hey!, well not much, so you two hunting that?" Ruby smiled, pointing at the nevermore.
"Yes," I nodded.
Yang soon joined appearing from the bushes, "Ruby!"
Ruby excited raised her arms to hug her sister, "Yang!"
"Sexy," Yang winked at me.
"Hotstuff," I winked at her.
"Nora!" Nora came between us and knocking the girls off balance in surprise.
Blake jumped off a tree landing in front of us with a bored expression, "So what are we doing?"
"Killing that Grimm," Pyrrha smiled.
Everyone started to talk at the same time, while I ignored them, keeping a close eye on the nevermore, the beast was circling the area, but it wasn't attacking us, which was odd.
As I studied the beast, I noticed Yang was getting frustrated with something.
Yang starts getting angrier to the point she growled and erupted in a small burst of fire, eyes flashing red, "I can't take it anymore! Can everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens?! I NEED SOME SILENCE,"
"Hn," I chuckled.
"I can come back... later," Ren that had just arrived said in an uncertain tone.
"Now it's cool," Nora smiled pulling Ren inside the group.
As this happens, I finally understood why the Nevermore was acting odd; he was looking for his flock.
There was another Nevermore close.
Ruby's eyes widen as she tugged on her sister's sleeve and pointed out something behind us, "Umm.... guys?"
Up above, Weiss is revealed to be hanging on a talon that belongs to a gigantic Nevermore, that is at least twice as big as the one I was initially chasing.
Weiss, not caring she was literally at the claws of death, started to shout at Ruby, "How could you leave me?!"
Ruby shouted back up at Weiss, "I said jump!
The massive nevermore stops and throws Weiss with a massive amount of force to the ground.
Blake pointed at Weiss, "We have to catch her!"
But before she even thought of that, I was already running towards Weiss; at full speed, the impact could be lethal for her.
While I forgot a great deal of the show, I remembered with certainty they didn't fight two nevermore's, and that Weiss was never this close to dying during the test, it seems my presence changed some factors
Once I was close jumped off a tree with arms outstretched to catch her in a cliche romantic moment, while I loved fighting that didn't mean I didn't enjoy flirting.
I smiled at her, "So how've you been princess?"
Weiss is speechless for a second before blushing so hard her hair contrasted even more.
Weiss smiled still blushing, "My hero."
I chuckled, putting her gently on the ground, "Now how about you let me dance with birdie over here," I pointed at the Nevermore's that were screeching mid-air.
"We'll take the normal-sized one," Pyrrha added with a smile, readying her weapons.
Yang sarcastically chuckled, "Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!"
Ruby smiled, "Not if I can help it!" Shouting a battle cry as she rushed towards the smaller nevermore.
Yang shouted as she ran after her, "Ruby, wait!"
Ruby, still screaming like a spartan, fires Crescent Rose and charges at the smaller Nevermore, the Grimm is using its wings to block the bullets and with a gust of wind throws Ruby away knocking her back hard into a tree
Ruby with a dazed expression slowly getting up, "D-Do-Don't worry! G-guys Totally fine!"
The massive nevermore demands my attention with a massive and deafening growl.
I smiled at the creature, taunting it with my aura.
The massive nevermore starts to flaps its wings shooting hundreds of feather as projectiles.
I smiled cutting the projectiles as they come, once the way was clear I jumped into the air being face to face with the Nevermore who tried to use its peak to pierce me, I avoided this by gently using its peak as another jumping platform, putting me in the high ground.
"First Form: Dark Moon - Evening Palace, (Ichi no kata: Yamidzuki - Yoi no Miya)", I breathed out, unsheathing my katana, slashing the creature swiftly in a single motion; like with all Moon Breathing techniques, numerous chaotic blades that look like crescent moons originate from the slash, cutting the beast in multiple parts, This technique resembles a lot the Iaido, meaning speed unsheathing is the key.
As I landed on the floor with elegance, the beast gave its last screech, before fading into nothingness as I sheathed my katana.
I turned around to see the gang struggling with the other Nevermore, as I sat on the ground to observe their fight.
"Aren't you gonna help?" Blake asked, jumping and dodging the attacks.
"Why would I?" I chuckled, "I eliminated the biggest threat, and I know you seven can kill that one with ease, so why would I hinder your collective growth by killing it myself?"
"... I'm going to punch you so hard when I'm done with this overgrown chicken!" Yang growled with red eyes burning.
"Ha! Sure, I would love to see you try," I grinned at her.
Eventually, they managed to defeat the beast, it took them some time and getting thrashed around a bit, but I knew they could overcome this challenge.
Nora continued to smash the Grimms head with a sadistic smile as the monster turned into dust, "Die! Die!"
I chuckled as Yang approaches me to give me that punch she promised she's stopped by Ruby and Weiss.
Weiss smiled, "Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us." She points at the relics, the pieces we were sent to retrieve.
Ruby smiled," She's right, beside Dante is right, we can't rely on him to beat all the Grimms for us..."
With that, we continued on our path, each one getting the pieces we needed.
Now, all we had to do was get back to the academy.
In our way, we fought many Beowolves and other low tier Grimms, but they all agreed that after the Nevermore that was easy.
We eventually managed to get back to the auditorium with the faint sounds of an audience clapping were heard, growing louder and louder as a familiar voice is heard.
Inside there was where all the students were seemingly detailing we were the last ones.
Ozpin smiled at us as he continued, "Russel Thrush. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark," the screen of the auditorium shows each of their profiles as the boys are lined up for the applauding audience to see as Ozpin continues, "The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL, led by... Cardin Winchester!"
The audience gives one more wave of ovation, while four students walk up to the stage to take their places in front of the headmaster as their faces fill the screen.
Ozpin then smiled at me, "Dante Logbrok. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team DNPR.
Amid the clapping, Nora laughs and gives Ren a hug.
My letter was the first one, this bastard, he wouldn't dare to put me in charge, he knows I like to mostly go solo.
Ozpin smiled this time a bit darker than usual at me, "Led by...Dante Lodbrok!"
I narrowed my eyes at him, "I will get you for this..."
Ozpin ignored my threat, "Congratulations, young man."
A grinning Pyrrha hugs me, making Nora join on the endeavour getting pretty close to break my bones.
'Jesus, how strong is Nora,' I thought as I desperately tried to escape her deadly embrace.
Ozpin chuckled, "And finally, Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long," he motions over the four as they stand before him, "The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by... Ruby Rose!"
Weiss looks to her right surprised, where Ruby is obviously in shock as Yang goes over to hug her sister.
Yang hugs once again the ever-living shit off, Ruby, "I'm so proud of you!"
Ozpin smiled amid the last round of cheers, "It looks like things are shaping up to be an... interesting year,"

[Earlier in the auditorium] [Ozpin POV]
"He just killed a Deathstalker as if was nothing, and now a Nevermore, this kid is dangerously powerful," Glynda commented seeing Dante in action.
And I can't say I blame her; this kid is as strong is not more than most hunters, he might he even match the top-notch hunters as he is.
But like he's powerful he's reckless, he needs something to ground him, so that he can grow.
A team would ground him, but it would work even more if he were the leader of said team, he would have to think of his teammates before doing something reckless if something I have learned that true power awakens when someone has the desperate need to protect.
"I think our Mr. Dante, will find leadership fun," I chuckled.
"I see, I hope you know what you're doing," Glynda sighed.
"Believe it or not it will," I chuckled, after all, I was like Dante, when I was young, and someone grounded me and taught me what really mattered.

Far away, in a warehouse, Roman Torchwick angrily slams his fist down, sighing. He holds a cigar to his mouth and puts his lighter to the end.
"I want that kid death," Roman growled as a petite girl entered the room with a sign.
[And dead he will be, soon....] The petite girl smiled, with her sign on her left hand.
Roman sighed as he pointed at one of his goons, to open a case.
One of the henchmen does so with a crowbar, revealing a large amount of Dust crystals of varying colors - -orange, blue, white, red, green, cyan, gold, yellow, and more. Roman picked up a blue gem in his hand and looked at the loot.
Roman sighed once again, "We're gonna need more men..."
