When we got back to the mansion, I stopped talking as if we were friends, that wasn't allowed unless you were ordered to by the masters, Mars looked at me disappointed but understood that I would not risk breaking a rule just to be nice, so Mars cleared his throat and loudly proclaimed,

"Kaca I would like you to address me as if I were a friend."

I nodded and said,

"thank you Mars."

He gave me a small nod.

"Well Mars we should head to bed it is quite late in the night," I said.

"you are quite right goodnight Kaca I hope to see you tomorrow," he responded and started to walk off.

"If you wish it so it just might happen," I said as I walked off to the servants quarters.

when I arrived at the quarters Kay a personal maid to the lady of the house, and one of the few people that actually get to see her now a days was livid, ranting about how she couldn't buy something even with her husbands money and her own combined, not that they ever had much, an overseer was in love with Kay but she was already married to Zane another servant. Now everyday he beats Zane hoping he might die from it so he can have Kay but he doesn't and they spend their small allowance on paying one of our healers to keep healing him. I could now make out what she was yelling about, she was going through peoples stuff looking for money so she could buy a condom for Zane so they could have some fun tonight, yes she's allowed out into town alone. I sighed and tossed her what few coins I had on me and told her,

"you are loud at a late time we need sleep, go get what you need and do your business quietly and don't try to steal from others it's unsightly of you."

I made my way to my spot on the floor it was only a blanket pillow and stuffed teddy bear, my one true possession in this place. Kay left not saying anything and I laid on the floor pulled my blanket over me and hugged my bear close to me and went to sleep.

I awoke to a bell ringing and immediately cleaned up my stuff folding my blanket and pilling it up on top of my pillow and teddy bear, there was a meeting we all must attend today, so we walked to the dinning room and waited.
