boredom

We stood in the room while the master, and Mars sat at the big empty table, and we seemed to be waiting for someone else, maybe this would be one of the rare moments that the madam would come out of her room. Soon her frail fragile looking body wearing a purple gown walked into the room followed by two of her personal maids, Kay, and Molly. Her blonde curly hair looked unkept and her blue eyes look like she was tired beyond belief and her skin was so pale.. she sat down next to Mars, giving him a small hug as she passed by, along with a small smile, he smiled back up at her and held onto her arms for the small amount of time the hug lasted, instead of sitting down on the other side of her husband, she sat down next to Mars. Master looked at her and then sighed and started to talk.

"In a week from now there will be a party here and I have decided at this party that you-"

He turned towards Mars as he said this.

"will be picking a bride and we will be making another announcement there as well."

Mars looked surprised but then calmed his features and asked,

"I get to pick anyone of my choice in attendance correct?"

"Any female in attendance, yes," Master responded.

"Then I accept these terms." Mars said with a slight smile.

The madam was staring at the master, with a look of frustration and controlled anger on her face.

The master then said,

"Start preparing for the party at once, you are all dismissed."

"Mars please leave me and your father alone while we talk for awhile," the madam said in her quite melodic voice.

We all left the room as quickly as possible Mars following close behind.
