31. Strength is 'ABSOLUTE!'

[PoV: Sona]
Sairaorg's match… was interesting. But I don't have time to think about that. My opponent is the strongest one within the group. The last time I met him, his reserves were barely a little higher than mine. But his current reserves are monstrous!
Standing on top of the arena I was waiting for him to appear… but I definitely wasn't prepared for that flashy entrance.
Till a second ago, there was no one in front of me. But the moment I blinked my eyes, the devil was standing in front of me.
The audience gasped at the way he teleported, which I believe is because of his bloodline ability.
"Nice trick." And it truly was.
"Thank you." He said with a devilish smile.
I should focus… but-
"YOU CAN DO THIS SO-TAN!!! DEFEAT SHI-TAN AND THEN WE WILL DO A LOT OF CUDDLING LIKE WE ALWAYS DO!!!"
To my horror and Shisui's confusion, my sister shouted from the judge's room. I felt my face heating up when Shisui looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"I-Idiot Sister." You weren't supposed to say that in public!!!
For some reason, Shisui looked even more confused.
["*Cough* *Cough* Participants, are you ready?"]
Both Shisui and I looked towards each other and nodded.
["Very well then… BEGIN!"]
The moment the match started, I used the water manipulation to propel me towards him. He was fast and with his teleportation ability, he was terrifying.
Using the water as a foothold, I threw in a kick but he somehow managed to dodged it.
I jumped and fell back to my previous position, but for the devil's sake, he teleported right behind me and threw a kick of his own.
I barely managed to dodge it.
That was not the only time he used teleportation and kicks in rapid succession. He did it multiple times.
I dodged and blocked most of them, but a few managed to hit me.
I did notice one thing though. His kicks were not that strong. Maybe he was not very good with raw physical power? But I cannot risk it!
I used my water magic to cover the floor with it and make it slippery.
He raised an eyebrow but smiled right afterward.
I shouldn't drag this any longer.
The water should prevent him from rushing towards me and with the water in the surrounding, he shouldn't be able to reach me even if he teleports.
I can erect a water barrier around my body, in case he does teleport.
Now is my chance!
Letting the demonic power concentrate in front of me, I mix it with my water magic to make it stronger and shape the water.
It was a move that I discovered a few months ago, which is also the strongest move that I have in my arsenal.
The water empowered by demonic power took the shape of a massive 8-meter tall serpent.
Without wasting any time, I directed the attack of the serpent towards Shisui.
And as expected, he tried to get away from the radius of the attack… but unfortunately for him, I already thought of that.
Instantly freezing the water around his feet, I let the serpent rush towards him.
The serpent got a clear hit on him which caused a big explosion. The entire ground below him cracked and formed a massive crater.
"There is no way that he will be able to move after this."
The entire arena was surrounded by the mist formed by the explosion of the serpent.
No movement. The battle didn't last for very long but the opponent was strong. If I had dragged this battle any longer, I would have lost without a doubt.
I took a breath of relief as the announcer announced the result.
["T-T was an impressive show of power and ability from Sona Sitri! The winner of thi-"]
"Not too bad." The voice made my blood run cold.
The boy who I thought had lost was standing right in front of me… completely unscathed.
He walked towards me with a feral grin. "But I can do better."

I blanked out.

[The Council Room]
No one uttered a single word. None of them could.
The behemoth of a creature made purely of water stared down upon Sona.
If Sona's water attack was of an 8-meter tall serpent, Shisui's water creature was a 13-meter tall, nine-headed hydra!
"Stop the match now!" Serafall roared, looking at her younger sister who looked scared for her life. "That thing is dangerous!"
"I completely agree with Serafall. We should call off this match, right now!" Even Sirzechs looked horrified.
But before any of them could make a move, Zekram spoke up.
"This match will not be called off. It is against the rules." He said sternly.
"That is my daughter in there, Lord Zekram! Such a dangerous move should not be allowed!" Niklaus screamed in horror. "If that attack hits her, there is no guarantee that she will be safe!"
"Just a moment ago, your daughter also used a move that could have harmed him in serious ways. So there is nothing I can do now. If I did anything, it would be against the rules." Zekram was as calm as ever, even though he was also worried about Sona's safety.
Serafall was desperate and furious at this point. "Then I, Serafall Leviathan, as one of the Devil Kings of the underworld will have to take action!"
Gone was the bubbly personality and instead stood the strongest female devil, the Ice Empress, 'Serafall Leviathan.'
She didn't bother listening to anything that was said and was about to teleport onto the battleground when a certain man's voice entered her ears.
"Then I, as the minister of Law and Order, as well the head incharge of Military Affairs, will have to stop you." Everyone turned around to find a certain bald Devil King appearing out of a magic circle.
"Falbium Asmodeus." Niklaus and Kayn muttered.
The man, in turn, gave them a small nod.
"Calm down Sera. All the participants know that inflicting life-threatening wounds on their opponents will result in an instant disqualification." Falbium was extremely calm.
Falbium Asmodeus doesn't like working. He is known for his laziness and is crowned as the 'King of Sloth.' But whenever there is an emergency, he doesn't mind doing a 'bit' of work.
"B-But-"
"Enough!" Falbium didn't let her finish. "If I see that her life is in danger, I will take action… personally." He looked towards Shisui with complex emotions. 'Seere… Don't let me down.'

[3rd person PoV]
[Water Style: Chaotic Water Dragon Jutsu]
Nine heads… Nine heads made of pure chakra-infused water emerged from the ground.
Each head of the dragon was big enough to swallow an entire devil with ease.
Sona's legs went limp as she fell on her knees. Each head of the dragon slowly came towards her with an open mouth.
She saw her entire life flash before her eyes, till she heard Shisui say-
"Do you surrender?"
Faced with such a horrifying foe, she lost her senses. She was scared, she nearly blanked out.
It took her a solid minute to process what he said and finally nodded her head, as slowly as one could imagine.
"Smart choice."
[Release!]
The hydra exploded into millions of water droplets.
The entire stadium was silent for a solid minute before the announcer announced.
["WINNER SHISUI SEERE!"]
The crowd exploded in maddening cheers, as their shouts of awe nearly made Shishi go deaf.
He sighed before looking towards Sona.
"Heiress Sitri." He called drawing her attention. "Good match." He smiled which made Sona's eyes widen.
