After the events at the Dining Room, I and my companions are guided to our rooms. Each of us was given separate rooms while our soldiers will be staying on the barracks here in the castle.

I entered my room which was also very beautiful. The design of this building is really consistent. I might get some ideas here. I arranged my clothes to the closet and I then tried to lay on the bed. It is still afternoon and I don't want to stay here for the rest of the day. I decided to have a tour around the City. I went to Mayor Wiro's room to ask him to join me but he said that he is busy preparing some documents and the food we brought so I let him do his thing. I then went next to Poel's Room and asked him.

"I will gladly accept your offer Chairman."

"Nice. By the way, we must change our clothes to common clothing so that we won't stand out"

After changing into commoner's clothes, we headed outside the castle. We walked slowly through the streets as we observe the everyday lives of the humans here near the castle.

"Chairman, as I have observed this area is filled with richer humans living here. I heard from a servant that they refer to this area as the High End."

High End? So basically this area is the rich people area. Not gonna lie, all of the buildings located here are actually very fancy. I still cannot believe a struggling city can sustain a very luxurious lifestyle.

"I agree Poel. Then let us head into the commercial areas."

We then headed towards the area where most stores and markets are located. After asking for directions, we have arrived, and it is located by the river.

This area is busy. The streets are filled with stalls and shops everywhere. One thing I noticed is that most people here are not so luxurious as the people in the High End. Everyone here all looks like they are fighting for food.

"Hey! Don't steal my Bread!"

"That was mine!"

"No! I bought this first!"

I can hear multiple voices. People are all struggling to secure the limited food left. Looks like humans here are actually starving, but if the rich ones can eat, why won't they help the others?

"Chairman Wreck! Look!" Poel called as he points at something.

"A Port...."

I was astonished. Not because I saw a port, but because it was an empty port. There were no ships or boats. There is even a sign on it.

-THE PORT OF SANDON IS CLOSED-

Closed? Isn't this port one of the most important things here in Sandon? I for sure guess that this is one of the major reasons why they are struggling right now. There better be a good reason why they decided to shut it down.

We thought that it was the worst thing we saw in this city. It was not. We continued to travel throughout the huge city of Sandon until we reached an area.

"Chairman, this is horrible!"

"I know."

We saw an area of slums. I know that it was expected for larger cities but this is way too different. Poor Humans are all just laying on the ground. They all look like they are starving. Houses are made out of trash. People are constantly fighting and worst of all, we saw some corpses lying right beside them. It was horrible.

The worst thing we have ever heard came from a conversation of two men that happened to pass by us. They look like they are in the middle class.

"God! I hope that we can find some real job to earn money!"

"Yeah! I really don't want to end up in the slums! Life is horrible in that place."

"I agree. I once heard from my friend that those who end up they become monsters and will eat people!"

"Correct! Those from the slums are horrible! They are better off as dead!"

"I hope the King burns down that place. It creeps me out!"

Damn. That conversation really triggered me. People here really have no pity on these poor souls. This City really is in trouble. The lives of the people are so imbalanced. I pity those poor souls who are born only to suffer. The lives of the rich are so different compared to the life of the poor. I want to help them. The problem here is I can't do anything. I really can't. I came here for diplomacy and not meddle into the affairs of the city. The best thing I can do is to work hard so that my country won't turn into something like that.

Poel and I then headed back to the castle since it was almost night. I spent the rest of the evening writing a journal about my travels and experiences here. I wrote every single thing I noticed in the details.

While I was writing, I felt a lot of presence nearby. I can guarantee that they are not friendly. I can feel bloodlust. I grabbed the nearest stick I can grab.

*AIR SLASHING SFX*

*CLANG!!!*

I blocked a sword attack from above from someone who was wearing all blacks. Many more men in blacks came into my room through the window. I believe there are six humans here.

"Who are you?" I asked calmly.

They did not respond. Instead, they all attacked simultaneously from all sides. I used the stick to block them but it broke. I had no choice but to dodge and retreat so that I can grab the Eiric which is located on the other side of the room.

*CLANG*

*TING*

*BOOM*

Since I was skilled enough, I was able to dodge all of their attacks successfully. I was able to grab the Eiric and attack them.

*SHING!!!*

I used the sweeping move so I can attack all of them. I thought about using the scream attack but I decided not to since I don't want to disturb other people. I also want to capture and interrogate all of them since I can defeat all of them.

After many more glaive attacks, they can barely stand. I decided to put my glaive away because I do not want to accidentally kill them. I used my arms and legs to fight which knocked out five of them.

"You sure are a tough one."

The last man standing the pounced towards my direction which I swiftly dodged. Then I grabbed him with all my strength, kicked his head, and pinned him down. I already grabbed him but what surprised me was the fact that he was still conscious.

"You really are amazing Chairman."

Wait. I heard that voice before!"

I quickly removed his masked and I was shocked.

"PRINCE VEETO?!?!?!"
