Chapter 23

Leigh laid back on the couch and groaned.

"My idea must be successful, I'm exhausted," She said.

"Don't overdo it." Jim lowered his book. "Remember that stress is harder on you."

"I think I'm ready for phase two."

"I hate to ask, but what is phase two going to involve."

"More people," Leigh sat up. "Now, I know I can trade knowledge and keep folks interested, it's time to broaden the circle. I'll go and talk to Susan about what students might be interested. They can work out of the storefront in the mall."

"So you've talked to the company yet?"

"No, but there's someone who has opened a craft shop and exchange. Her store looks empty. She said she wouldn't mind having a few chairs and card tables about. She even offered to bring them in, so we have a place to use during store hours.

"So I guess that Joe won't get many more people to learn to fillet fish for him."

"Not for a while," she said, "I think he's wrapped up the fish for the time being anyway. Something about the ice."
