When age rules the country, it’s hard to be young.

Trey runs away from the youth reserve, sure he’s no more than spare parts for a father he barely remembers. The Council of Elders has its own questions about the him. When Trey find the Underground and joins the fight to give rights back to the Youngers, he starts a chain of events beyond anyone’s control.

Generation Gap

Trey sat in his room and stared at the wall. Two days after the team meeting and he was feeling completely forgotten and inadequate. 


Annie had no trouble getting volunteer work at the shelter. Bert brought in her reports, but all they said was the janitor was being treated as a hero for driving off a gang of thieves. Annie was watching him, but didn't expect anything to develop so soon. 


Jimmy worked the street checking in with the youth gang he had once run with. He'd quit the gang by having Dan "arrest" him. Now he spun tales of time behind bars and a capricious parole officer. He didn't learn anything new either.
