Sally foraged for grass on the roadside as Charlotte and Odo sat huddled together. 


"I'm so sorry, Odo, if I hadn't told you to not say anything, then we wouldn't be in this mess." Her eyes glistened as she looked into her husband's face.  


Odo shook his head. "If the knight would have seen the Templar warrant, he would have taken it, of that ye can be sure. There was no way we could have proved we owned Amica without revealing the warrant."  


"Ye did nothing wrong, Charlotte, ye may have saved us. We will go to Taunton and report the theft. Then we can prove to everyone Amica is ours."


"If we can get near the saddle, and how do we do that?" she asked.


A short time later, with Charlotte seated behind him on Sally, they headed towards Taunton where they hoped to find Sir Ector and Amica.
