Instructions were given to replenish water and food for the horses. They wouldn't stay long, informed Hilke, the tide would turn soon and he wanted to follow it out. Leaving Wim in charge, Hilke walked along the dock and disappeared amongst the buildings. 


Standing on dry land felt peculiar, commented Charlotte as they waited for Hilke to return. They stood on the pier stretching their legs; Jagger never more than a step or two away from them.
