Chapter 152

Jagger was fighting to control his rage and he acted instinctively. Driven by frustration and anger, he pivoted his body and with pure strength and speed, his sword, which had been pointed down at the ground swung up with all his might. With a horrendous crash of steel, the inferior Frisian sword snapped cleanly. The numbing blow caused the Frisian to drop what remained of his weapon and clutch his stinging hand. With an open palm, the giant stepped forward and casually thrust him aside.

As ordered, Tedric and three others, with swords drawn, positioned themselves behind the group. The Frisians were trapped, they'd have to fight their way past.

Wanting to leave as quickly as possible with their prisoner, Antonius Richter turned around to find their escape blocked by four armed Englishmen.
