Apology.

Harry put down his phone he had tried calling Vivian but she didn't pick up.

He had just dropped her home so she was still awake. Was she ignoring his calls?

Since the day he saw her smile when saying her name and the warmth of her hand when he held it in his. That memory had stuck in his head.

He had spent half the day with her shopping for baby clothes. Then he took her for coffee. She had not opposed and followed him with a smile on her face.

He knew about her past from Irene but the woman he spent time with that day had made his heart race like crazy.

That evening when he suggested late-night snacks, it was because he wanted to create more time with her which he got to have.

She had waved her hand at him when he dropped her home leaving him smiling like a fool.

Rose had given out her number when he asked for it without question. It seemed she knew something was going on between them.

"Good luck" was all she said and hang up

But when he asked her out for dinner she was so busy that she left work late. Rose had told him to wait for her outside the company's entrance. She was happy to see him there waiting for her.

He drove her home but he still failed to ask her out. So he did it every day and he stupidly failed each time.

Rose had told him to call her and ask if asking face to face had failed. But she ignored his calls.

Harry felt depressed as he assumed Vivian was ignoring him.

But she looked okay when he left her outside her home. Did something happen after he left?

He decided to call Rose instead.

"What did she say?" asked Rose.

"She didn't pick up " he cried.

"Maybe she was busy with something "

"Maybe " Harry repeated.

Rose could sense his disappointment.

"You know I can't say I know everything about Vivian now since I just got to know her " explained Rose.

They had just found out they were siblings not long ago. So Rose couldn't say she knew Vivian that much.

"But the Vivian now she a good person. So if you like her then I will help you "

"What do you think I should do know?" Harry asked confused.

"Let her be for now. Don't call her or don't pick her up again " Rose told Harry.

"But then I won't be able to see her " he cried.

"Just be patient until I tell you the next move," said Rose.

Harry listened to Rose and did as he was told.

He didn't wait for Vivian again at the company or drop her home.

Rose was home waiting for Vivian. She had gone to the airport to pick Irene and Sean who had decided to return.

Irene came with Vivian and Sean left with his car leaving with the luggage.

She entered the mansion screaming Rose's name who came out with a smile. After showing how they missed each other with hugs and kisses they sat down to talk.

"Your baby bump is growing huge " Irene observed.

"And your glowing " Rose told Irene.

Vivian was silent as she watched them exchange compliments.

"Why are you so quiet?" Irene asked.

"She has been acting strange since Harry stopped picking her up " Rose whispered to Irene.

"How did you know that?" Vivian asked.

Rose laughed. , " That is my company and Arthur tells me everything " she lied.

"Did you do something to him?" Irene asked.

Vivian shook her head in denial, "I didn't do anything but only ignore his calls " she said.

"Well that wasn't very nice " Irene frowned.

"I know and I regretted it after but he never called again or gave me rides back home " Vivian cried.

Rose and Irene rushed to her, " He must have felt bad since he did all those things with a reason " Rose said.

"But you shut him out by ignoring his calls " Irene finished.

"What can I do?" Vivian looked at them both with tears in her eyes.

"Simply just call him instead and apologize " Irene suggested.

"And maybe invite him out for dinner " Rose smiled as she winked at Irene.

"Will it work?" Vivian asked.

Irene and Rose both nodded as Rose picked up Vivian's phone from the table handing it over to her.

"Maybe I will later, he might be busy at work " Vivian let out.

"Don't be stupid, today is a weekend he must be home " Irene laughed.

Vivian got up and walked out to the terrace dialing Harry's number.

Rose and Irene watched her through the glass window with sly smiles.

"So what happened with you and Sean " Rose turned to Irene.

Irene flexed her hand in front of Rose showing off her diamond ring.

"It's gorgeous " Rose held her friend's hand as she admired the ring.

Outside the terrace, Vivian was holding her phone to her ear as she listened to ringing from it.

"Hello," a man's voice answered.

"Hello, it's Vivian " she stammered.

Harry chuckled hearing her stammer her name.

"Yes, Vivian " he answered.

"I wanted to apologize for not picking up your calls," she said.

Harry was smiling as he listened to her apology.

"It's in the past and I guessed you were busy so didn't call again " he lied.

"But you stopped coming to the company too " she let out.

Harry was doing something on his computer. He got up walking to his balcony listening to Vivian talk.

"I had to leave for work somewhere far so I could not anymore," he said.

"Are you back now?" she stammered again.

Harry told her he was back home already. So Vivian suggested if they could go out to dinner.

"I would love too but I have to complete some work that is needed by Monday," he said.

"Oh, then maybe next time," She said.

After she hung up Vivian dragged her sad body back inside to where Rose and Irene were seated.

"He turned me down " she cried.
