Chapter 227: The Longest Night Part 8

“Good girl, I will order a shuttle. If you want, we can take that ride to the ocean, I’m sure some sea air would help, then, no arguing, it is back to the Motel.”

“Fine with me,” she gasped.

He activated his Z–ring and spoke briefly.

“A shuttle should be here in about ten seconds.

Seven seconds later their ride arrived and they were off. He switched his ring off so nothing would disturb them.

Leah’s head rested comfortably on Talokta’s shoulder. She felt safe and let herself drift off.

She felt him shaking her. “Don’t sleep Leah, it could be dangerous.”

Technically, he should report this, along with every detailed incident to the Supreme Ruler. In all honesty, his Master had enough to deal with, and it would more than likely end the cadet's celebrations when Talokta and his men could easily contain it.

Once more, he knew he would not report her or his cadets' earlier discrepancy. He would deal with everything himself in good time.
