Chapter 339: Challengers Part 1

Talokta stepped into Kalvich’s study and was met with a myriad of utter confusement, concern and dark fury painted on the Supreme Ruler’s face.

He saluted cordially and waited—his mind totally clear.

Kalvich thumped his large fist on his desk, thrust upward out of his chair and growled, “Explain to me where Leah and Samara are Talokta.”

Talokta knew his master would not put up with any excuses or fumbling so he simply told him the cold hard truth.

“I do not know.”

Kalvich was about to hit him with a barrage of abuse when they were interrupted by the guard outside Kalvich’s door.

“Sire, I have a prison guard who urgently needs to report some—unusual circumstances that reached his attention.”

Kalvich forcibly took a deep breath and gestured for the guard to be let in.

The guard, who had delivered his parent’s rations stood stock still and saluted.

“I know this is unusual Supreme Ruler but I—”
