Chapter 357: Fifteen Minutes Part 1

Kalvich was pacing up and down burbling incoherently. Why did he let her go through this? Now stuck inside that cursed sword’s domain! He had no way of getting her back. Curse the fucking White Wizards and that Cemel he wanted to tear into pieces. What happened to the sword? He should never have suppressed her power with that molecular generator.

Talokta sat in silence opposite his desk waiting respectfully for his master to gain his wits.

Finally Kalvich stopped pacing and rummaged through his drawer, pulled out two bottles of wine, collapsed in his chair looking at Talokta, his eyes dull in shock.

He thumped the desk with his fist. “I swear to you Talokta, that if I ever get her back, you will have your rank and privileges—everything back! I was foolish and overly emotional treating you—my brother, like a Lae Tu. Please forgive me.”

“There is nothing to forgive sire. I am your commander for as long as I live, maybe your brother for even longer.”
