Chapter 358: Fifteen Minutes Part 2

“Huuuh, what—LEAH!” Talokta’s eyes flew open.

Kalvich sat stock up and then pain filled his face as the alcohol did a three sixty degree turn inside his head.

Both men clumsily clambered to their feet staring at her as if she was a figment of their imagination.

“You’re back!” they said in unison.

Leah laughed and stretched out her arms, hugging them tightly. She then stepped back and the sword flashed back into existence.

She handed it proudly to Kalvich. Once more the power transferred itself through his body. Next second it was gone.

“T—thank you Leah, I love you so much.”

His expression reminded Leah of the little boy who got what he wanted for Christmas—sheer utter joy, excitement, and a lot of relief. Kalvich picked her up, spinning her round. Talokta watched at a respectable distance, elated to have her back, but wistful knowing Kalvich would not keep his word. Who would blame him? She was an irresistible force.

“Woah, put me down before I throw up,” she laughed.
