Chapter 159: Raging Together

I was almost to the Mist door, fuming and stomping my way home, hating to face another failure and needing the few minutes of the walk through the now empty Crosspath to vent before I let Chaos out to deal with the mess of Creation herself. That was an option, right? Just let her loose and scrub everything clean, start again?

She seemed amenable to the idea, even shared who would go first, Maut at the top of her very cranky list, but Gabriel not so far behind her father. Yikes, our father.

Not her father, that power insisted, only the donor of matter required to form a life he clearly had no appreciation for and surely she must understand that considering they shared similar beginnings with males of a particular persuasion to whom daughters were disposable and possibly dangerous additions they shouldn't have made in the first place if they didn't want them.
