Chapter 49: Roy and Katreena's Journey

"A bit of copper for your dream?" Katreena asked as she urged her steed to catch up to his.

"What?" Roy asked as he had not said a word for nearly an hour while they rode down the northwest path.

"What are you thinking so hard about?" she asked with a smile hoping for a bit of conversation to pass the time.

"Fishing lessons," Roy answered. He could tell from the look on her face that she required him to elaborate. "When I was young, about eight I think my Dad took me fishing for the first time. He told me that it wasn't enough to just be patient. A good fisherman needed to listen to the fish in the water."

Katreena laughed, "He was teasing you of course."

"Not at all. He said that if one was still enough, you could hear an entire school of fish pass by."

"Are you sure he just did not want you to make any noise so you would not scare the fish away?"
