Katreena curled up into her husband's arms on his chest for both warmth and comfort. Their wool tent did well to keep them dry but did little to hold in the heat. Roy watched the white puffs of air drift out before his face with each exhale and listened to his wife humming a lullaby as she was missing her little ones. The fur quilt and feather lined mat kept in some warmth, so long as they didn't move too much. Cold bit at his ears and cheeks making comfort a lost cause, but exhaustion was an unexpected friend as it led to the ability to sleep. Roy found himself drifting off, but his slumber would be anything but restful.
