Chapter 113: Katreena Sacrifice

Katreena rode her steed up the path to the Greely's simple farmhouse with joy on her face, and she could hear the sounds of her children playing in the orchard from far off. Everything seemed to be back to the way it was, but she still had a sense that everything was not right. She had clear memories of both the past couple of days in which the stones went dark and of the same days that had replaced them as if nothing had happened. On her journey back home, she met and saw several people in the different villages and farms who seemed completely unaware of the crisis, and she said very little to clue them in that anything had been wrong.

As Katreena dismounted her steed near the Greely's front door, Zohn walked out to greet her.

"Hello Katreena," he bellowed in his very jovial voice. "How are your Aunt and Uncle? I hope they are well."
