Medley didn't look up when they walked in. No big surprise there. Fresco found himself grinning.
"Are you here to gape at me or do you have a reason for the disruption?" Her fingers manipulated the dial on her microscope, eyes moving back and forth between it and her laptop.
"We have some questions," Daniel said, amusement twisting his lips. Nice to know Fresco wasn't the only one who got a kick out of the sweet faced and acerbic old woman.
She sighed and turned toward them, her glasses perched in her ball of white hair. "Answers aren't my expertise. Try the library. Or Google."
"The stuff we want to ask is a bit more personal." He winked at her.
Medley cocked her head to the left and made a face. "Fine. Ask. You won't leave me alone until I can convince you I know about as much as you do."
"Tell Fresco what you found out about us." Daniel retrieved a rickety chair and planted himself in it. Fresco chose to stand.
