Chapter 89: Dad's Rescue

The plan is simple, though Didi worries it might be too simple as she adjusts the hem of her uniform in reflexive discomfort and waits beside Bo for the lift to come to a halt. She wants to find time to yell at him and give him trouble for lying to her all along. Not out of any real anger, considering she's finally accepted her part of the blame for his lack of forthcoming information. More so in the need to just shout and be shouted at, to release her anxiety and her temper in a flare that would be forgiven and forgotten and moved past with smooth haste by a friend who understands. But it seems like a super personal moment kind of event to engage in and she just doesn't feel like it's appropriate just yet.

She'll rescue Dad then give Bo a piece of her mind and maybe even kiss him when it's over, if he's lucky.
