The Past is the Past

"Help!"

Dave, Josh, and Kenneth heard Mijail's yell for help. Kenneth was the first to arrive and open the door. There he found Aetos kissing and touching the upper part of Mijail's body. Kenneth without thinking twice punched him in the face and wrapped Mijail in his arms, he quickly helped him to cover his body with a blanket. Dave and Josh arrived later and saw that Mijail was trembling, Aetos was thrown on the floor with some blood coming out of his mouth, he was knock out. Kenneth had a murderous look.

Dave and Josh immediately sobered and understood what happened in the room. Dave called an ambulance and Josh went to the kitchen to prepare some tea for Mijail.

Mijail was frightened and trembling, it was his first tie being attacked by someone. Kenneth wanted to hug him but didn't know how to approach him. Kenneth knew how terrific could be being attacked by someone.

He experienced something similar when he was in high school, one of his teachers harassed him until his father sued her.

The rest of his high school life was in his house.

Finally, Kenneth decided to hug Mijail.

When Mijail saw that Kenneth wanted to hug him, he avoided him. Kenneth stopped his arms dejectedly.

"You can sleep in this room tonight, I'll call your parents" Kenneth left the room.

Dave and Josh had already take out Aetos from the room.

Mijail was still trembling but he was shocked to get to know that Aetos was in love with him. After Aetos touch him like that, Mijail didn't want to be touch again, well, for some time.

Kenneth called Mijail's parents and told them what happened and that Mijail was going to sleep in one of the rooms in the penthouse. Mijail's mother was stunned and worried for him, but she calmed when Kenneth reassured her that he would take care of Mijail. However, Mijail's father and brothers were furious with Aetos and they would have sued him if not for Kenneth who told them that Aetos was drunk and wasn't in his cabals when everything happened. Hacket and Heller noticed that the voice of Kenneth showed signs of suppressed anger.

The next day, Mijail went to school with Kenneth and Dave. Megan was waiting for him with a worried face.

"Are you ok Mijail?" She asked immediately and hugged him.

"Yes," Mijail didn't avoid her like he avoided Kenneth.

"I can't believe that Aetos attacked you" Megan was angry with Aetos, she even forgot that she liked him.

Mijail was silent.

"I'm fine now, Megan"

Kenneth looked over where Mijail and Megan were. Dave was next to him, and patted his shoulder.

"He will be alright, just give him time and then try to approach again. You don't know but someday you'll get a chance to talk to him again." Dave tried to cheer Kenneth.

"You are right, the good thing is that I now know he doesn't like neither Aetos or Megan" Kenneth sighed and his lips curled up lightly.

The days began to passed and Aetos tried to apologize for his behavior but Mijail told him he needed sometime far from him. Megan just looked at him disgusted. Kenneth returned to his usual self and Dave began to date with Megan.

Two weeks passed like that.

Finally, Mijail got the courage and went to look for Aetos. When Aetos saw him, he was confused but stayed where he was standing.

"I didn't know that you liked me" Mijail was a bit nervous but continued "It is difficult for me, but I thought about what happened the other day and..." Mijail continued talking with Aetos.

They were in front of the school's gate when Megan, Dave and Kenneth arrived and saw the scene. Kenneth watched Mijail for a long time.

"I'll see what is happening" Megan said just after they saw that Aetos was smiling.

Kenneth felt something hurt in his heart.

"Mijail!" Megan called him.

The smile in Aetos' face instantly faded away.

"Megan!" Mijail greeted her with a smile.

"What happened? What are you doing?" Megan asked suspiciously. She was alert because of Aetos' presence.

She no longer felt disgusted but a bit apprehensive. Her change in attitude toward Aetos was because Dave got an opportunity to explain her what happened that day and that she didn't like him anymore too. However, she didn't want to accept his apologize because the attack was just one day after Mijail was discharged from the hospital and he was still weak.

Mijail told her what he was talking with Aetos and the shocked Megan surprised Kenneth and Dave. Kenneth decided to passed them like he didn't saw them.

Dave was curious about what happened but he didn't want to leave Kenneth alone.

Mijail, Megan and Aetos were friends again, but one could feel the awkwardness during two months. November arrived and Mijail was already accustomed with his new life. He remembered some of the other Mijail's memories that helped him in his studies. He really was worried with no knowing nothing.

His brothers talked with him to help him overcome the situation he experienced. His sister made him some cup cakes and took him to an arcade to play. Megan and Aetos made peace, and everything returned like nothing ever happened. She told Aetos that she was now dating Dave and that she was happy with him. Aetos obviously was happy for her and was able to show off that he knew the person who the beauty Megan was datin with. They talked and joked. Finally, the events for Christmas were being organized and everyone in the school were excited.

One day, Dave and Megan were going out for walk and went to a restaurant of fast food.

"What did Mijail talk with Aetos two months ago?" Dave couldn't help but ask. The reason was that Kenneth became colder after that day and he was worried about his friend's emotions.

Megan looked at him and remembered she was going to tell them what happened but the shocked she received was much that she forgot her original purpose.

"Oh, sorry I forget about that" Megan felt guiltly for forgetting about that thing, "Mijail accepted Aetos' apologize and told him that the past is the past"
