Hencewood

"As I said, your new name is going to be Scar from now on."

Scar slowly nodded his head and removed his hand from his left cheek, before turning around and walking towards the dirt road. Zuhn slowly followed behind Scar while twirling the dagger in his hand.

'Ah! I almost forgot…'

"Scar! Stop!"

Scar stopped instantly and slowly turned around to look at Zuhn.

'Did he change his mind? Does he want to kill me now?' Scar felt shivers all throughout his body.

Zuhn laughed lightly seeing the look on Scar's face. "Haha, Don't worry I'm going to kill you. I need you to help me look for some White Roses."

'White Roses? What?'

Scar was very confused, but went along with it since he didn't want to be killed.

"Once you find some White Roses bring them to me! Oh! And Scar! Don't even think about running away!"

Scar nodded his head and proceeded to go out into the forest on the hunt to find some White Roses. Scar walked for around twenty minutes before he came across some red and white roses. He carefully grabbed only the white roses before returning to Zuhn.

Scar walked back to Zuhn with five white roses and carefully gave them to Zuhn. Zuhn smiled, "Wow! These are perfect! Now, let me show you one of my favorite activities!"

Scar couldn't help but notice the demonic tone of Zuhn's voice after he grabbed the white roses. Zuhn walked over to the bodies and gently put each of the roses in various locations on Scar's dead friends.

The youth that had his neck slit open, now had a light white rose in his mouth. The other two had white roses placed on their chests. Scar couldn't help but throw up as he saw his friend's lifeless bodies.

After Zuhn finished placing three of the flowers he turned back to Scar.

"Scar! Do you see what's wrong?"

Scar cleaned his mouth off with his shirt before looking toward Zuhn. Zuhn motioned to look at his hand.

"Um, Sir you still have two roses left?"

"Yes! Two left. Why did you bring me five total White Roses?"

"I-I didn't know why you needed them, sir."

Zuhn launched towards Scar and grabbed him by his neck.

"S-Sir, I'm s-sorry for whatever I-I did" Scar spoke with mixed sobs as he cried his eyes out, afraid of death.

Zuhn looked down at Scar and laughed under his breath at the worthless youth in front of him. Zuhn let go of Scar's neck and threw him to the ground.

"Lesson #1, After I kill people, only bring the number of white roses needed. Also, make sure they are freshly picked. They must never be rotten or close to withering away!"

Zuhn dropped the remaining two roses to his feet and turned back towards the dirt road.

Scar took a moment to calm himself down before jumping up and grabbing the remaining two roses and throwing them out. Zuhn silently waited for Scar to finish before saying, "Alrighty, Let's get going."

Deep in the Flashi Forest, A man wearing shiny metal armor rode up to the lead horse. The lead horse was wearing a full set of golden armor. On top of the horse was also a man of decent stature also wearing a set of golden armor. On both sides of his waist were two golden swords.

"Reporting, Sir! The scouts report that they have found several dead youths on the side of the road, about one mile ahead of us!"

The man with golden armor looked over to the man with a weird expression, "So?"

"Sir! Normally I wouldn't inform you of such trivial matters, but these youths all have White Roses on their bodies!"

The man in the gold armor suddenly had a stern expression, "Bring me to them!"

The man in the shiny armor nodded and they both rode over to where the bodies were discovered.

When both of the men arrived at the location, they both took a deep breath to avoid throwing up the lunch they just had. With one simple look, they were able to come to the conclusion that these youths were killed by someone with skills.

The man with the golden armor was the first one to speak, "Looking at the clothes they are wearing, they must have been dirt poor… They must have tried to rob the wrong person. Though, if they just robbed the wrong person, why would the killer leave behind White Roses?"

"Sir, Maybe it's a symbol?"

The man in the golden armor nodded before turning to the scouts already on the scene, "Did the men find anything on these youths that could help us identify them?"

One of the scouts walked forward, "Yes, It looks like these kids tried to pretend to be a part of the Rascal Bandit Group."

"Rascal Bandit Group, huh? These kids must have been courting death. Well, it looks like they deserved this, let's continue!"

Both men along with the scouts returned to the dirt road and continued their ride to Hencewood.

Zuhn and Scar have been walking for several hours and reached the top of a large hill, down below was a bustling town. There were all sorts of people below, people with long ears, ones with tails, Zuhn found this town quite strange.

"Scar… Why do people have tails? Are they fake?"

Scar looked up at Zuhn, "Sir, You don't have half-humans where you come from?" Scar was genuinely shocked since most of Ziom had half-humans since the creation of Ziom.

Zuhn just slowly shook his head.

"Well, Sir, This town has all sorts of species. There are three factions, Humans, Elves, and Half-Humans."

Zuhn couldn't help but think about what kind of place he had come to.

Before Zuhn and Scar ventured down to the town, there was a sudden commotion behind them. Zuhn quietly whispered to Scar, "Who are they?"

Scar motioned for Zuhn to follow him off the dirt road before speaking, "That man in the golden armor is the Baron's son. He is known to go around to other major cities to capture and buy slaves then bring them back here to work in the Iron mines."

As the baron's son passed them, Scar kept his head down, while Zuhn actively stared at the coming party. One of the knights didn't like Zuhn looking at them, so he spit while he passed by.

Zuhn cursed under his breath but didn't take any action since he didn't know how strong they were. Once they passed, Scar looked at Zuhn, "Sir, they don't like commoners and will kill them on sight if they think you wronged them."

Zuhn nodded his head and watched the party ride to the gates of the city. Once the party reached the city gate, the guards didn't even stop them. Instead, they all bowed down to the Baron's son and quickly got the gate open for them to enter.

The guards all let out a breath after the Baron's son entered the gates. They slowly started to close the gates, by the time Zuhn and Scar arrived.

"Stop! Let me see your ids!"

Scar dug his hand into his pocket and pulled out a small piece of paper and handed it to the guard. The guard nodded his head and looked over to Zuhn, "Hey! Let me see your id as well."

Scar slightly panicked for a second, "Um, Sir. This man is new to the area and doesn't have an ID yet."

The guard took a second glance at Scar then turned his attention back at Zuhn. He turned around and motioned for the other guards to walk over.

"So, for you to get an ID, I will need your name, and it will also cost you two silver." The guard held out his hand to Zuhn, waiting for the two silver. Zuhn looked down at the guard's hand before turning and looking at Scar.

Scar quickly dug back into his pockets in search of an extra two silver coins. When he eventually found some, he handed them to the guard. The guard nodded before going towards the gate and grabbing a piece of paper.

When the guard returned he spoke to Zuhn, "What is your name?"

"Zuhn"

The guard looked up from the paper, "Zuhn what? What's your last name."

"Ah, Zuhn Sheng."

The guard scribbled down his name, "You could have said that the first time."

After writing down all of Zuhn's information, he headed back to the gate to finish up Zuhn's id. After the guard finished he walked back to the pair along with a couple of the other guards.

"Alrighty, Here is your ID, But before you can enter the city, I will need to search the both of you." The other guards behind him had their hands on the hilts of their swords waiting for a reply.

Scar tugged on Zuhn's shirt before whispering, "Sir, they are trying to steal from us!"

Zuhn nodded his head, the lead guard walked up to Zuhn and tried to reach for Zuhn's pockets, but Zuhn grabbed the guard's arm and pushed him to the ground.

The other guards pulled out their weapons and pointed them at Zuhn.

"Stop! Let go of Brian or you will be killed on the very spot you stand!"

Zuhn let go of the guard and walked back a couple of feet before putting his hands up and looking straight into the guard's eyes. A small smirk appeared on his face.

Shivers ran down the guard's spine and Zuhn's cold eyes looked deep into their souls. It was like a demon was looking at them, they were paralyzed with fear, feeling like they were soon to become that demon's dinner.

The lead guard the approached Zuhn first got off the ground and quickly moved back to the other guards before speaking, "Okay, Okay! We won't search you, I think we can all agree you can handle yourself. We are sorry!"

Scar looked at Zuhn before looking at the guard with a wide grin plastered on his face.

Zuhn shook his head and whispered to Scar, "Don't get too cocky Scar." Scar nodded his head as the two of them walked past the terrified guards and headed into town.

After the two entered the city, the lead guard was the first to speak, "What the hell, who was that guy?"

The three guards that were paralyzed from fear only a couple of minutes ago quickly gained back their composure.

"I don't know, but Sir, should we report him to the Young Master?"

All of the guards nodded their heads in agreement and moved back to their positions.

The two youths walked into the town, and above them, a sign read, 'Welcome to Hencewood.'
