Manhunt

"Young Master, We have some urgent news to discuss with you!" Outside a medium-sized house, two people shouted while kneeling.

A youth walked up to the window and looked down, below were two men, one was wearing a full suit of golden armor, while the other one was clad in regular iron armor.

*Knock* *Knock*

The youth staring out the window turned his head towards the door, "Sir, the Baron's son is outside and he's looking for you."

The youth sighed, "Yes, Please will you send them to my room? I'm quite interested to see what they want."

The butler nodded his head and went downstairs to grab the two men. The two men were escorted to a large office upstairs, when they got inside there was a youth sitting in a chair while reading a book. The youth's office was full of books, it was pretty much a small library.

Once they entered the room, both men kneeled down while looking at the youth. "Young Master, both Corporal Gou and I have some important news to report."

The youth looked up from his book, "You two need to stop calling me Young Master, I'm going to be the future Viscount of this town! Call me by my proper title!" The youth was very frustrated by the man's words.

"Yes, Future Viscount" the two men replied.

"What is so important that you need to tell me?" Both men looked a one another, "While we were traveling back to town, we found multiple bodies on the side of the road."

"So? Dead bodies are an everyday occurrence outside of any major city." The two men gulped, "We thought that as well, but we found white roses placed on each of the bodies. All the bodies had small tattoos, it looked like they were trying to pretend to be from the Rascal Bandit Group."

'Rascal Bandit Group' Those three words caught the youth's attention. "The Rascal Bandit Group, huh? How old did the men look like?"

"Future Viscount, that's the problem, they were just young kids."

The youth just smiled and started to laugh quietly, "Haha, Well those kids were just fake then." Both of the men also nodded their heads, "You all the way here, interrupting my reading, just to tell me that you people killed on the side of the road? Why are you wasting my time? If you don't have anything else to say, get the hell out of my sight!"

Both men broke out into a cold sweat after hearing the youth yell at them. The man in the knight-like armor was about to stand up and leave the room.

"Wait!"

The Baron's son began to speak, "Future Viscount, The guards on the west wall reported that two youths entered the town today."

The youth continued to read his book, like the man in front of him didn't say anything.

"Future Viscount, the guards said that a youth around the age of sixteen easily tackled and almost killed one of the guards. The guards said that the man threatened to kill all of them if they didn't let him inside."

The youth's face was now full of anger, he threw his book across the room and jumped out of his chair. "You mean to tell me, that you let a criminal into my town?" The youth walked over to his desk and grabbed a small crimson dagger out of a drawer and walked over to the men.

The youth walked over to the men and stuck it in between both of them. Both men jumped up in fright. "Both of you! Start a manhunt and find those fucking kids and bring them to me! If you don't bring them here by tonight I'm killing both of you!"

Both men quickly got up and left the room in a rush. The two men made it outside before they started to talk to one another. "Damn, that kid is scary but he's a real pain." The corporal nodded.

When the two men made it to the middle of the town, there was another wall waiting for them. On the sign above the gate, it read, 'Central Barracks'.

"Sir! We have orders from the Young Master!"

A tall but stern-looking man, around thirty years old walked out in front of the two men. "You two, What do you mean there are orders from the Young Master?"

The Baron's son was the first one to speak, "Sir, Young Master ordered us to capture two youths that entered from the west gate this morning."

The Lieutenant put his hand up to his chin and started to wonder, "Why does the Young Master want these two youths?" The Baron's son looked back at the Lieutenant, "These two youths beat up and threatened to kill four city wall guards."

The Lieutenant's face turned red, he was full of anger. He grabbed a long sword next to him and moved past the two men. "Both of you! Grab twenty men and go out in the city and find those two bastards! Bring them back alive, or at least in one piece!"

Zuhn and Scar were walking down the street, it was around noon and everyone was hard at work around them. When Zuhn and Scar made it to the market area it surprised them both.

It was extremely busy, people were all over the place. There were several stands, and people screaming all sorts of prices for different items. Ahead of them, there was the man in the golden armor coming towards them. Zuhn felt something in his gut and pulled Scar into an alley nearby.

The man in the golden armor walked by, muttering something, "Remember! Get those two alive, or we will be killed." Scar first looked up at Zuhn, wondering why he was pulled into the alley. Though, after hearing what the man said, he soon understood his action.

Both Zuhn and Scar let out their breaths after the man and his guards were gone. "Do you think they were talking about us?" Zuhn didn't speak at first but then just nodded his head. "What should we do? Should we run? I know a town that is around fifty miles to the north."

Zuhn shook his head, "No, no, Let's get somewhere and plan what to do next." Scar nodded and they both started to leave the alley. When they turned left to leave they both felt a strong glare on them.

"You two stop!" They both turned around to see a man around thirty years old, he was holding his long sword toward them.

Zuhn and Scar both instantly stopped and put their hands in their pockets, reaching for their weapons. Before Zuhn and Scar could try and leave, they were surrounded by multiple guards all clad in iron armor. The Baron's son also appeared to confirm their identities.

The older man spoke first, "You two, Dare to threaten my guards!" Zuhn and Scar were both equally confused.

'Threaten? When did they ever threaten any guards?'

They both looked at the Baron's son, he was laughing quietly.

The older man, motioned for the guards around Zuhn to approach and restrain them. "I recommend that you both give up, I don't want to kill two young kids."

Zuhn fiddled around with the knife in his pocket, firmly gripping it. When one of the guards was about to close in on him, Zuhn pulled out this knife.
