RUBY HONG

hey everyone.
I don't know where to start.
umm let's start at the time when I first met my little angel. ah~ I remember it like it was yesterday.

I was having my morning coffee at 6:00 am when I heard a baby crying.

Now the first thing normal people would do in this situation is to think that it's just some neighbor's child, but in my case I heard it comeing from my front door.

I got curious so I go and take a look. by
the time I got to the door it became quiet.
I open the door and look outside and see
nothing. Then I heard some baby sounds, so I look down.

I saw a baby ' what's a baby doing in
front of my house at this time.'

'it can't be that they abandoned her/him right.'


I lift the baby up and as I lift him/her
something slipped out I picked it up.

'oh a letter ' I whisper

it says three words " she's your child. "

"....."

I went silent for like two minutes I mean I'm single and I still haven't done the deed yet . It makes me sad. I don't even have a girlfriend and now you tell me I have a child.


I thought until here as I look from the letter to the child . she looks to be 1 or 2 years old looking cute.

" sign... I should just take her in for the time being."

I take the child into my house. ' I'll go to the police station in a bit.' I thought to my self.

strangely the child stayed in my arms without making any noise ' awh so cute. *sign* who could have abandoned this little angel. '

" maybe I should just adopt her as my child. "

There are voices in my head arguing. One was to adopt her and another one is that having a child is annoying .

after some time the former won . so I decided to adopt her. She's a healthy little girl by the way.
sigh*.... I went to the police station at 8 : 30 and finish the proceeding to get her adopted .

" so what does a baby need ?"

'burp cloths, baby Formula, butt wipe, diaper,etc.'

I reached home at noon. Strangely Ruby is very calm she didn't cry since I pick her up in front of my door. oh! ruby was the name I choose for her " Ruby Hong " don't know if it's a good name though. since I have bad naming sense. Well, my name is Jack Hong so you can see it runs in the family.

Anyway Ruby is very calm in my arms she's even giggles. Ah~~ so~~cute~~
" who's a good girl ? yes you are, yes you are. "
** baby giggles **
As I play with Ruby for a bit , I look at the clock.

"Oh, it's time for lunch."

"Let's make some baby formula." I said as I walked to the kitchen and started to make the baby formula.

" first washing hands~~ bottle~~ nipple~~ ring~~ cap~~ and formula container. "

" Date, check. no dent, no bulging, no leaking . "

"add water " ' that should be enough '

" next add the formula. OK, 2 scoops. attach the ring, nipple and cap, and shake it a~nd done "

Oh! I have to check the temp. " umm, OK, it's just about right. " I walk to Ruby and take her into my arm to feed her.

" now let's get you fed up. "

after I fed Ruby, I put her to bed. I go to the living room and start my work. Btw, I work at home, I write novels.

After writing for 1 hour Ruby wakes up. I go and pick her up and take her to the living room to continue my work.

she's surprisingly calm, and I continue writing my novel. As I write my novel I sometime play with Ruby and earn a few giggles.

I continue until 4 PM.

I thought it would be a good idea to go walk in the park and get some air with Ruby. so I pick Ruby in my arms and say " how about we go and have a walk in the park my little angle. "

** exiting giggles** " I'll take that as a yes. "

After I finish preparing we set off to the park. As I walk I met my neighbor Anna.

" good evening, jack ! " She says

" good evening, Anna ! "I reply

" so, who's this little cutie~? " Anna ask in curiosity.

" oh! let me introduce you. This is my little angle Ruby. " as I finish I saw Anna look at me with a shock expression.

" since when did you have a child this cute!? " She ask in shock

" hey, I take offend in that ! " I says a little offended

" so who's her mom ? "

" I don't know. "

" what do you mean you don't know !? " Said Anna in surprise

" I just found her in front of my door this morning with a letter that only have three words [ She's your child ] in it,But I'm still a virgin so she can't be mine. And after some conflicted thinking I decide to adopt he." I explain.

" so, she's adopted "Anna ask

" pretty much yeah "

" I knew it. how can she be yours ? she's so much cuter than you. " she says

" ok ok I got it . I'm not cute, so stop rubbing salt on my wound. geez " I say in annoyance

" are you going to the park ? " Anna ask

"yeah, wanna tag along ?" I say

" sure "
so we walk to the park together. Anna keeps on playing with Ruby along the way.

she even ask to carry Ruby, but I refuse as I'm not tired off carrying Ruby.

I could never feel tired from carrying my sweat little angle.
