[Chapter 104] Meeting The King

"Is he really a Shadow Dragon King?" She asks as she looks over at the guard. He nods as he points at me, "Princess, as you can see he has no tail nor scales currently, and no humans can enter this realm which can only lead to this conclusion."

She looks over at me, gazing at me up and down before she sees my confused face, "Is something wrong?"

I don't answer her as I am currently questioning what is happening in the back of my head. 'What is with this damn music? I haven't even heard of it before...'

3, 2, 1, let's jam!

As she continues to look at my confused face, Voron steps in, "He must be baffled meeting you for the first time princess, anyway, would you like to join us for the meeting with the king?"

She smiles as she nods, "I would enjoy that very much thank you. Let's get going, shall we?"

As we continue to walk forward down the hall, the music in the back of my head disappears as it slowly fades away. I sit there in silent confusion as I try to comprehend what just happened.

'A random song just played in my head for no reason. I would say it could be from my past life but as my flashbacks continue to happen, my memories have become clearer, and I never had ever heard that song from anywhere, just what is going on?'

As my muddled thoughts finish, we arrive at a massive door, one that gives off a large pressure, one that feels as if I am being pressed down on by a giant force. This door feels as if it could crush me with the amount of magic in it alone, not counting its massive size.

Suddenly, the door opens slowly inwards, revealing a black scaled Dragonborn sitting on the throne, shedding an impervious aura as we enter, reminding me, this is a king.

He stares down at me with a fire in his eyes as I ride in on Blossom, her claws clicking on the floor with each step. I stop in front of the king and unlatch myself from Blossom before silently hopping off of her, she glances at the humanoid lizard in front of her with a nonchalant gaze, as if saying, "Come fight me, I'll slap you out of existence," before sitting down like a dog.

Slime Winter is still sleeping, as if I'm his personal bed. I gaze up at the king, who gives an overpowering sense of superiority flowing from him, showing his experience. Beside him sits a white Dragonborn, she has a calm aura about her as she sits there, as if she is used to this. Voron steps forward and kneels as he speaks, "Your majesty, this Shadow Dragon King says he had a meeting with you so I brought him right away." His tone is filled with respect as he speaks, his voice not wavering at any word.

The king nods and opens his mouth to speak, his teeth pearl white, "This is true. It is nice to meet you Kurayami, I am the current ruler of the Fang kingdom."

I bow slightly as to show my respect before speaking, "I'm sorry about making you wait so long, I had matters to complete before arriving here or my disappearance would of been dangerous."

The king nods as he accepts my response, "I understand, but it makes me happy that you arrived none the less. Now I am not going to beat around the bush, you are definitely an anomaly, an oddity that I haven't seen in my 1,000 years of running this kingdom. Your able to use abilities that aren't taught to the majority of royalty, and you show up from nowhere and fight in an arena battle that has everyone still in an uproar. So are you here to challenge me for the throne?"

The Vorona and the princess look over at me, a slight bit of killing intent leaking from the head knight.

I freeze for a moment as I realize something that I had forgotten about, when a Shadow Dragon King reveals his existence in a kingdom, it is usually to show the King that he exists and can challenge the right for the throne.

But I immediately thaw as I remember the hell like training that happened in the time loop, dying so many times can make you quite unafraid of death, and the amount of pain I had felt is immeasurable as my brain started to turn off the pain till it was just a tingling sensation to have a leg blown off.

I calmly shake my head, "I am not, I have no reason to challenge you, especially right now as I am only ten years old. And before you ask, I created this world, how would I not know of a Shadow Dragon King's abilities."

The king suddenly laughs as he hears the end of my sentence, causing the knight to have a small look of shock. "I would of never thought I would meet someone who actually had the guts to say those words!" He says between gasps as he laughs.

I shake my head as I ask, "So what churches are in this world, because I can name the exact one that worships me, the real creator. And I have only been here for a month." He calms down laughing as his gaze settles on me, his face serious, "Oh? So which one is it?"

I giggle as I say, "It's the only cult that exists in this realm, the Empty Scales." His expression changes to one of slight irritation, "I hate that damn cult, spouting that a human created this realm with his mind, it's preposterous."

My face settles a smirk onto it, seemingly like I'm explaining something everyone should know, "And do you have any evidence showing that I didn't?"

He waves his hand at me, "First off, your a Shadow Dragon King, not human. Second off, they say he was from Earth while you we're definitely not on earth, but in a town named Lycon."

My smirk grows bigger as he says each word, "Indeed, I was born on Earth and lived in a town named Zeplon. Sadly, Earth has been destroyed by its own sun, I died and was reincarnated. I don't care if you believe me, the cult is the only one that knows of my town origins and only tells their most trusted. If you want to find out, ask them if their god was born in the town I said, it should get a reaction from them."

And with that, I turn around, just to see a charming tabaxi walking side by side with the white Dragonborn in her hood. 'Wait, how did he get here?'
