[Chapter 180] Dreag’s Armor

I begin to wave my hand over each box as it slowly begins to fill my blue mana core ring. After ten minutes, I have 10,000 swords worth of boxes in my ring. I walk out as I recall all of the soldiers, leaving a few on the walls to keep watch. A few minutes later, I have everyone standing before me, about 9,500 soldiers. They stand in a line as they silently wait for an order, the smoke wisps floating away from them.

I wave my hand once more as the large amount of boxes appear in around me. I clear my throat as I yell, "Open the boxes and take one sword each."

Without hesitation, the shadow soldiers begin to open the boxes and take a sword, attaching it to a belt I added with it. People curiously gather, having never seen such a large gathering of soldiers in Hana before.

Some of the kids gasp and even some older adults, the sight of the swords catching their attention. I smile at their awe and a few moments later, someone speaks up.

"Where did you get the materials for these? Was it from those noble carts that came by yesterday?"

I shake my head, "Where I get the materials is my secret, but to answer your question, no. They were here for another matter which I will announce later."

After about 5-8 minutes, all the soldiers have one sword. I dismiss them back to their duties as I call the other 500 to grab theirs. After a few minutes, all the soldiers have swords and are back at their posts. As I am cleaning up the boxes, I find out that I made a miscalculation. Inside one of the boxes lay a few swords. I quickly count them and see 63 of them, meaning I am a little short of 10,000 soldiers.

I count over the swords one more time before thinking over what to do with them. I eventually just shrug and put them back into the warehouse, most likely to just collect dust. I walk into the living room to see Dreag reading a book, his large 7ft figure hulking in size.

These past few days, he has been sleeping on the couch since I don't have a guest room. I look him up and down as I tell him, "We will be leaving in a few days, I allied with the Fang kingdom and they will hopefully be sending over someone to watch the construction of the kingdom."

He nods as he closes the book, his finger keeping the page he was on. "Alright. I hope you don't mind but I have a request."

I nod, listening intently. Dreag doesn't make requests often so this is unexpected, so I make sure to not miss a detail.

"I want you to create me armor. Something adaptable and swift, but sturdy enough to take a few hits." As he speaks, a smile slowly forms on my face as I have an idea of what to make him.

I wave for him to follow, causing him to stand up from his seat and pull out a bookmark from who knows where. He places it into the book and waves his hand, sending the book into his storage ring, which rests calmly on his finger, a purple gem resting inside.

"So what type of design do you want on it? Do you want any? Anything specific you want?" I ask as I wake up the purple slime, which was resting soundlessly on my head.

He thinks for a moment before shaking his head, "I can't think of anything else. My only requirement being able to use my claw like weapons created by those sticks."

I think for a moment as an image appears in my head, "I know exactly what I am going to make, but I am going to need your body measurements so I will get them when we get to my workstation."

He nods, "Alright, so what are you gonna design it to look like?"

A fun grin appears on my face, "Let's just say it will have my touch to it and it is definitely going to be fun."

Dreag's serious expression stays in wavered as he nods, "Alright. I have faith in you."

I arrive at my large bench as I wave my hand, a tape measurer appearing in my palm. I unreel it as I motion for Dreag to raise his arms, which he promptly does. I swiftly take the measurements in a few seconds as I turn around, quickly inputing the numbers as a 3D diagram of a Dreag's body appears above the workbench.

It is about a foot tall as I begin to design the parts and trouble shooting. I suddenly feel a tickling on my neck as I scratch it, glancing at Dreag who is looking intently at the model. I wave him off as I explain, "This is going to take a good while, you should go back to relaxing till then."

He nods as he walks back to the living room, already reading a book in his left hand. The second he leaves, I immediately begin to work, designing all types of parts and screws.

The purple slime on my head gazes curiously at what I am doing, excited he gets to build stuff again. As I am creating the parts based on the simulations I have made, I am inwardly running over my facts.

'Exo suits had been used in combat shortly after my betrayal and they were experimental but still functioned extremely well. I plan on using that for my base design and editing it to fit Dreag's requirements.' I nod at my facts as I finish getting the parts for the frame's lower half created. I place the purple gelatin on them as he sucks them up, immediately getting to work.

As Slime Winter does that, I begin to create microchips and wires, grabbing my sauter and running through a plethora of trial simulation designs before I begin.

I swiftly sauter each part and life, creating a masterpiece of gray, black, and purple.

'I can create a plethora of different colors...but I am stuck repeating them.' I look around my workshop as I realize that there is a repeating theme of purple, gray, black, white, and mixes in between.

'...I need paint.'
