Chapter 5: A Big Mistake.

Waking up this morning, I thought that today was going to be a good day, but I thought wrong.Today all the maids were super busy because the competition was going to take place next week. Doing my chores, I accidentally bumped into the maid chief which was the biggest mistake of my life because before I came to the palace, different maids have done what I have done and they regretted it. This is what happened, after bumping into her she stared at me with a cold look and whispered in my ear saying " you should't have come here and if this happens again I will make sure you get fired". What she said made me feel belittled and scared. Without saying anything again she turned and walked away. But what I knew was that it was not the end of the world. And I definitely hope it isn't the end of my job at the palace. I left for my room and immediately told Fen Fang everything that happened. Immediately I told her everything that happened she said " You are one of the very lucky few who got spared", " This happened to me once once I almost lost my job because of it, luckily I was one of the best maids they had, so they had no choice but to keep me. After talking about everything I kept thinking about how I could have lost my job and how the whole plan could have went hay wire just because of one little mistake.
