Speech is a Wonderful Thing, Right?

I was absolutely speechless.

Mother, who is quite small in comparison to these Giant Ants, is absolutely crushing them one-sidedly.

"HAHAHA! COME ON LET ME ATLEAST BREAK A SWEAT!"

Mother seems to be in a complete state of euphoria as she flew around the battlefield, chopping off the various limbs of the bugs. Some of them tried to retreat back into the forest after being badly maimed, however they were quickly stopped and decapitated.

The bugs kept coming from the forest. That did not seem to matter to Mother though as she got more and more excited each time more of them appeared.

I then spotted that a large amount of smaller ants had appeared out from a different area of the forest. I say that they are smaller, but they were still a bit taller than mother and so a lot bigger than me.

"Oh? Trying to swarm me with numbers. Normally I would let you try, and savour this fight as long as possible. However, I would like to show off a little bit today."

I couldn't quit hear what Mother said over the loud stampeding ants and Giant Ants footsteps. She then proceeded to jump; her jump sent her flying upwards giving her a bird's eye view of the battlefield. Then two wings sprouted out from her back and she began to fly in place.

"Let's see how many of you survive this [Giant Flare Bomb]!"

As I stared up at Mother, a large ball of fireball appeared out of nowhere. The ball kept growing until it was huge.

It was then sent hurtling towards the newly appeared army of smaller ants.

*BOOOOOOM*

I closed my eyes as the fire ball collided with the ground and ants. What I saw when I opened them was absolute annihilation. A large sizzling crater appeared in the ground where the large army of ants where. Charred remains of the ants were inside the crater, but nothing was alive within it.

The scene was mesmerising for me. I guessed that Mother was strong considering that she is a dragon. However, she easily just vaporised an entire army in moments. I could feel my adoration for her skyrocket.

I then see Mother float down not to far away from me. She watched as a couple of the Giant Ants manage to crawl away back into the forest, she didn't seem interested in pursuing them though.

But none of that matters. What matters is….

MOTHER IS THE COOLEST!

Will she teach me to be that strong? Ooooo, I have to go ask right now!

Mother turns around to see me charging straight for her with sparkling eyes. When she sees me her demeaner seems to change back into what is usually is. She turns back into her usual attire, which is a red and black off the shoulder kimono coupled with sandals, as the fire envelopes her again and seems to take away the armour and weapon.

"Hehe, did you enjoy the show Alicia?" Mother expectantly says.

As I draw closer to her, I cannot stop myself jumping straight at her large chest, Mother opens her arms up ready to catch me.

Jumping for her, I decide I want to make my happiness and excitedness known, I know all I will probably make is a high-pitched noise. So I can say what is in my head without being embarrassed about it later.

I fly through the air and land in Mothers chest, she embraces me. I then look at her at her blissful face, open my mouth and…

"Yesh, Mother is the Kyuulest! I wuv you!"

…

…

Wait… What... I can talk!? And I said what I was thinking too without holding back?!

As I was regretting my actions, I looked up at Mother face. She was staring at me blankly.

Just as I was beginning to get worried about her, she seemed to reboot.

"No way… NO WAYYYYY! My daughter has such an impossibly cute voice!"

Her eyes suddenly became extremely bright and she begins hugging me into her chest while swaying me side to side.

"Mother… too tight… suffocating!"

"Hmm… Oh! Sorry my Alicia, I got a tad excited hehe."

Mother lets go and puts me down while making her apologies and giggling. Though I feel like she would be ready to ponce and grab me again at any time, so I am very wary of her.

"But it is true that your voice has turned out to be extremely cute dear Alicia. I am sure that once you achieve your human form, it will be just as adorable. Haahhh, just thinking about the possibilities is making me melt…"

Mother again went into her own world thinking about the future.

Snapping out of my embarrassment I realised this was no time to let her stay like this though.

I really wanted to know how Mother fought like that! I mean the armour and sword seemed to come out of nowhere after that fire engulfed her. Then she absolutely crushed all of those Giant Ants by flying round at incredible speed and wielding that massive sword to slice them up. And of course, there was the big fireball that wiped out hundreds of smaller ones.

I wondered to myself if she would teach me how to be strong like that. But with how clingy she has been I wondered if she would reject me or tell me to wait until I am older.

Then I realised I have a new weapon at my disposal. My voice. She seemed to think my new voice was extremely cute. So if I try asking while making myself as cute as possible then I might have a chance.

Kukuku I am indeed a genius, I wonder if it is because of me being born a Dragon with that knowledge already imprinted in me.

Anyway, time to enact the plan!

While Mother was still in her own little world, I walked up to her.

"Mother."

Hearing my voice, she turned to look at me. Her eyes still screamed that she wanted to just grab me and hug me. But I carried on.

"I know this may bwe a hard ask. But I would like to ask if yuw can teach me how to bwe stwong like that?"

Although I still had some trouble speaking in parts, I think it may work to my advantage at the moment as it added to cuteness my voice exudes.

However, Mothers eyes looked at me questioningly.

Perhaps she really does think it is too soon. But I cannot give up here, I need to be as strong as possible to be able to be able to fight strong creatures like Mother did!

"I weally want to be able to fight monsters like Mother did and be Stwong like Mother. So Pwease teach me!"

Mother continued to look at me with a confused look.

It may be too much to ask straight away after all.

Mother opened her mouth to answer and I resigned myself, ready for rejection. But….

"Hmmm? Of course, I shall teach you. I was going to start teaching you as soon as I could anyway?"

Eh? Really? SO WHY DID I EMBARRASS MYSELF BEGGING!

"After all, fighting is a Flame Dragons specialty. You could say it is the only thing we are good at hehe."

I questioned the last part a little bit, but decided that could wait till later. For now I can be happy that such a strong being as Mother is going to teach me.

I noticed that my tail was wagging in excitement as I anticipated what I am going to learn in the near future.

"But that is for another day, for now we better go home. I am covered in insect blood, as are you from the hug. So perhaps we should go for that bath now, Kukuku…"

My happiness did not last long though as I realised that I now had to resign myself to be bathed by Mother, as well the definite strokes that going to occur during it.

I am quite dirty now though and I suppose I could bear it if she stroked my tail for a little bit…

With that decided my Mother turned into her Dragon form.

"Get on my back Alicia, you must be tired from all the walking that we have been doing today."

My legs did indeed feel quite tired, so I agreed and climbed onto her back and grabbed hold with my claws. She then unfurled her wings and set off back towards the castle.

The flight over the top of the city was amazing. It came just as the sun was setting on the horizon and made me take note of the scenic beauty of our home.

When we got home my fears were realised as Mother tells me that we have to bathe now before the blood dries and becomes more difficult to wash off.

We land in the courtyard and head towards the waterway. Mother turns into her human form, though this time she was naked. It is rather embarrassing to see her naked, but I figured I would have to get used to this as she is my mother.

That did not stop me from admiring how much of a beauty she truly was with her perfect and toned figure. I also notice that she has plenty of scars on other parts of her body. She noticed me staring at them and smiled.

She tells me that to our species of dragon, scars are things to take pride in. They are symbols that they have fought in battles against opponents who strong enough to leave such marks on a dragon, which is apparently incredibly difficult.

"Hmmm but if anyone ever left such a scar on my beautiful Alicia, I might just have to slowly and painfully end them hehe."

Although her voice was sweet and she was smiling, her words were incredibly scary. However, it made me a little happy to know that she loved me that much.

"Anywayyy, I think its time for me to wash you Alicia, fufufu and perhaps you would let me stroke your beautiful hair, after all your Mother worked hard today hmmm?"

Although she said that she worked hard, I get the feeling it was super easy for her to wipe them out. She then began advancing towards me with a big smile on her face.

"B-but Mother w-wait wahhhh…"

"Fufufu, come now we have to do this now before it gets to late, tomorrow is the start of that training you was asking for…"

With that I was picked up then scrubbed and stroked relentlessly. When it was finally over, I waddled over to where we slept last night and passed out. Mother then curled around me and got some sleep as well.

Thus ends the day I really discovered just how powerful Mother is.
