The End of a Monster

"COME THEN YOU TINY PIECE OF SHIT! IF ALL THESE WORTHLESS PILES OF TRASH WILL NOT DIE FOR ME AGAINST YOU, THEN I WILL SLAUGHTER THEM AFTER I RIP YOU TO SHREDS!" Georg had completely lost it and had entered a berserk state of mind.

I think he had to enter this state of mind in order to force himself to fight, judging by how fearful he was previously.

I had little time to fully think on it though, as my own mind started to see red because of the [Blood Lust] skill.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Georg gave a massive roar that made the wolves behind him shudder in fear, I couldn't sense any change to my own feelings however. But they had been living in fear of this beast for who knows how long now, he could probably get that reaction from them without the intimidating roar.

I sense a large amount of mana build up within Georg and he climbs up onto his hind legs, before slamming his front legs back into the ground making indentations where they hit.

"DIEDIEDIEDIEDIEDIEEEEEEE!"

*Rumble*

The mana he built up then seeps into the ground from his body and the earth begins to violently shake beneath me.

*Rumble* *RUMBLE* *CRACK*

"Shit! Terre! Ignis! Retreat back within the walls!" Within seconds of Georg stamping into the ground, I sense the huge amount of mana that he released beneath my feet.

*CRAAAAACK* *BOOOM*

I jump away quickly and while I am in the air, I look down to see that something had burst through the ground where I was just stood.

"Woooooah!" I look on in amazement as the thing that tried to get me is still climbing upwards.

The thing in question? Was a giant worm looking creature made from Georg's mana. I only had a brief moment to see its head and mouth that had tried to swallow me before I fled. The mouth was completely round and had teeth that lined the inside of it. The mana that forms its body looks to have formed quite a hard solid as well.

Quite the mana beast he can create, if the sharp teeth don't kill you it can crush you or digest you with the highly concentrated mana inside it.

I take a look back to see if Terre and the others are okay. And of course they are, I see Terre give me a wave from one of the holes in the walls to let me know they are fine. She then disappears inside the walls once she knows I have seen her. I then begin to descend back to the ground.

"Aaaaaand land. Okay then what should I do about this beasty." I say looking up at the beast, that was now search the ground for me, with my hands on my hips.

"Riii… RIIIIIIIIIII!" After a bit of looking, it spots me on the ground looking up at it fearlessly.

It dives head first with its mouth open, hoping once again to swallow me whole. I jump sideways this time, just getting out the way of its massive bite attack.

"Alrighty! Let's try this first." I say as I take my scythe and slice upwards into the giant mana worm.

The momentum of the worm diving downwards and the sharpness of my blade makes it easy to slice straight into it.

"HYAAAAAAH!" I shout as I cut through it, though a lot of black liquid was coming bursting out of the large cut I was making.

"RIIIIIIIIIIII" It screeched in pain until finally it fully entered the ground and into safety. The advantage of being a lot smaller is that I am less of an easy target and quick evasion movement is a lot easier in this form then in my Dragon one.

"Okay where is he…. Huh… AHH!" I looked down at myself and see the black liquid has completely covered me. It has drenched my spirit armour and had disintegrated it in parts around my shoulders, chest, thigh and arms, I felt really exposed. My face heated up.

"D-Damn you stupid worm! I'LL KILL YOU!" I shout and stomp on the ground, the [Blood Lust] skill was not helping to calm me down either as all I wanted to do was fight and kill it.

At least no one is here, that I know well anyway, to see me in this embarrassing situation.

Then once again the ground starts to rumble and crack which let me know that it was coming for me once again.

As the ground splits open, I dodge once again and make some distance between me and the worm. When most of its body has surfaced the worm begins to search for me and spots me not long after.

I prepare myself for its head on charge… but this time it stays in place and I start to hear a gurgling noise coming from it.

"RIIIIII!" It roars and spits out a large amount of the black liquid, the same as what squirted at me before.

"Damn it! MY CLOTHES!" The liquid covered to large a radius and I could not avoid the attack in time. It did not hurt my skin very much due to it being as tough as it is in my dragon form, despite it looking smooth and delicate.

The same could not be said for my spirit armour however, which once again began to melt away.

"Shitty perverted worm! Fine you want my clothes and protection off, have it your way! [Humanoid Transformation, Deactivate]"

*POOF*

I then explode into a large poof of white smoke which completely engulfs my position.

"*huff* GRRRR *huff* WHAT IS GOING ON NOW! *huff*" I hear Georg shout while breathing very heavily, he must be tired from supplying the worm with mana in order to keep it manifested.

"Kukuku you are lucky, shitty wolf chief… you get to be my first real opponent while I am in this form…" The smoke slowly dissipates...

"Hah… That form… N-No… It can't be… That brat is… IS ACTUALLY A DRAGON!" Georg shouts in disbelief as my Dragon form slowly reveals itself.

"Yes! I am a Dragon. Hehe, Nice to hear a bit of despair in your voice. I am sure you have made plenty of other creatures shout and scream in that tone before." I reply back to him in a cold voice.

He tenses up as I say that to him. Noticing the amount of danger he was now in due to finding out that I am a Dragon, he pours even more mana into the worm to get it to attack me once more.

"hahHAHAHAHA! DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU ARE! MY WORM IS STILL BIGGER THAN YOU!" he shouts in increasing madness.

"You can keep saying that, but I am going to show you that size doesn't always mean strength!" I shout back.

I unfurl my wings and fly straight towards the mana worm while mana worm in return dives straight towards me. It probably thought that it could over-power me, who was still a lot smaller than itself.

But as I drew closer I covered myself in flame element mana, making it come to a point where my head is. Right now, I was an incredibly sharp flaming arrow that was travelling at high speeds.

"RIIIIIII!" The worm screeched as it opened it mouth to devour me.

"Pierce through! [Flame Impact]" I enhanced my bodies strength as much as I could and flew straight into it its mouth.

*Gulp*

Its mouth closes around me, and it tries to swallow me.

"HAHAHA STUPID DRAGON THINKING IT OUTPOWER MY MANA WORM!"

but he soon realises something is very wrong��

"Riiiiii RIIIIIII!"

"W-WHAT IS GOING ON?" Georg shouts in confusion as he looks up and sees the worm is writhing around in pain. Not suspecting that I could be inside the worm causing complete mayhem and burning everything as I fly through.

*BOOM*

Not long after I entered the mouth of the worm, I pierce straight through the other side of it causing a further and more intense cry of pain to come from the worm.

"RIIIIIIIIIiiiii…" *THUD* *BANG*

The mana worm falls the floor with a loud bang, and slowly begins to fade away as it can no longer keep its form.

I stared at it as it did so, making sure that it had completely disappeared before I let my guard down at all.

Once it did so I turned to face the creator of the worm, Georg.

"*huff* *huff* impossible *huff* my worm *huff* cannot be defeated! *huff*"

Georg was absolutely exhausted from the constant supplying of mana to keep the worm manifested. But after it sustained such a massive injury, he could no long keep its form stable and had to cut off the supply of mana.

I flew in the air for a little bit, enjoying the site of Georg mortified at the fact I defeated what I assume to be his "ultimate move". After a little bit, I flew down to the ground to finally face him.

I turn back into my Humanoid form and summon my spirit armour and weapon. My armour had not fully repaired but that did not matter at the moment.

"So, that was it? That was your big move? That was rather disappointing Georg, I expected a lot better from someone who was so confident before." I say mockingly.

He turns towards me with fury in his eyes, he reaaaally wants to kill me. Sucks for him that it's impossible, all that is left is to watch the desperate struggle of someone who thought he was all powerful.

As I think of what's to come a smile creeps on to my face, though to Georg this must not look like a happy, friendly smile. No, I was coming to end his miserable life, so it was probably very much a terrifying thing to witness in his view.

"S-Stay back! Stop calling me just Georg! I am Chief of the Kage Clan! Chief Georg! I will not be killed here! I will bring all beings under my rule! I will become a god!"

"Shut it Georg. You will be food for me. Nothing more." I say as I approach the monster that had tried to kill me, Terre and other people in my life that I have quickly grown to care about. If I let him go here, he would definitely come back for revenge. He dies here.

"No! Stay back!" Georg shouted desperately.

With the last of his strength he disperses some dark element mana and summons two wolves made of said mana.

They both charged towards me and dive for my throat, but I easily slice them up with my scythe and they disappear. I do not stop walking towards Georg as I do so.

The fear and desperation in Georg's eyes reach maximum level as he sees me defeat the last of the mana creatures he can form. His mana is pretty much at zero.

"No wait! I shall leave and never come back! I won't enter your territory again I swear! Look you can have all those wolves over there to kill as you please, just let me go!" Georg pleads, switching up his strategy this time.

"Hehe… Not. A. Chance." I deny him, which seems cleave the last bit of sanity from him…

"I WILL NOT DIEE HEREEEEEE!" He jumps towards me with his eyes completely devoid of any sane thoughts, with his mouth wide open and claws fully out.

I easily move to the side of him and he jumps onto nothing and lands on his feet. I use my scythe as a pole vault and summersault over him. While I am in the air above him, I grab Georg by the scruff of his neck and throw him. Like he did to the little wolf.

Once he lands on the floor roughly, he squirms and tries to pull his extremely fatigued body off of the ground.

Haaah time to end this I suppose, I think to myself finally tiring of tormenting him.

I walk up to his body that has just about managed to pull itself up.

"… I will become… god… I'll kill… you all…" He still murmurs to himself until the very end.

"Goodbye. Georg."

*Schlick*

My scythe cut straight through his huge neck, decapitating him.

And that is the end of Wolf Chief Georg.

The next day.

POV Vera.

"Urghhh… Where am I?" I wake up in a strange place I do not know.

I take a look around, but my confusion only grows. The walls were made of stone and I was currently laid on a bed of feathers. It looked a bit like the habitats that humanoid creatures usually live in.

Okay, I better get up and look for a clue to where I could be, I think to myself.

I try to get up… but I feel something laying against me on my stomach.

"Nrghhh… *yawn*"

I hear a yawn and quickly look down to check the culprit. It turns out to be what looks like a small, black haired girl.

When I try to move again she begins to wake and sits up, rubbing her eyes as she did so.

"Hmmm… sis? SIS YOU'RE OKAY!" Once she noticed that I am awake and looking at her, her eyes light up and she dives to hug me. She rubs her cheeks into my fur and starts sobbing.

"Uuuuuuu sis *sniff* I thought *sniff* that I wouldn't get to see you again! *sniff*"

See me again? What did she mean? I have never met this child in my life. And she keeps calling me sis?

"…Wait… That voice… No way, ARE YOU NOA" I shout in absolute disbelief.

"Haaah, of course I am! *sniff* How could you forget about me!" He shouts still half sobbing while hitting me lightly with both hands.

"B-but Noa is a wolf like me, and he is a boy! Ah ouch…" Due to a combination of surprise and Noa hitting me, the place I was punched by the cute little red head starts to hurt.

"I AM A BOY!" He shouts with his cheeks puffed up, which only adds to his feminine look.

"HELLOOOOOOO!" suddenly a small red headed kid bursts through the door to the room.

"You are…" I say instantly remembering her identity.

"That's right! I could hear Noa shouting so I just wanted to drop by and welcome you to your new home!" She says with a big smile.

"My new home?" And so my confusion only grew.

What is going on?
