Return of the Queen
Night had come in the Dragon Queens kingdom.
"Almost time! Almost time!"
This night was no normal night however. It was a cool summer night that you could find in many places. But…
"My Lady Alicia, you need to calm down. If you get to excited and accidently strengthen your body, you may end up bringing the walls down with all your pacing and jumping." (Terre)
As could be seen by the barely contained joy of the red headed Dragon girl, something very important was about to happen.
That important thing was the return of the Queen of this kingdom, Alicia's mother Petra.
"I know Terre, but it feels like I haven't seen her in forever you know! I wonder if she will be super impressed when I show her how strong I have become hehe." Alicia had been so excited all day, she ran up to the walls as soon as they had finished planning the celebration.
Of course, this made Ignis and Vera groan as they once again thought that they would have to run off after her, but Terre stopped them before they did.
Terre instead asked them to help set up the celebration, to give them a little bit of a break from the running around. To her surprise though, they both seemed a little hesitant to separate from Alicia for even a little while. But they did as they were asked and Terre left the remaining Guild work to Noa, who had been learning under Terre.
[Hehe it is good she has made some good friends. Sorry Ignis and Vera, but I too need some alone time to recharge my "Alicia Energy" as Lady Petra would put it] Terre thought to herself as she smiled. She had not been able to be alone with Alicia often these days, she was usually busy with rebuilding the guild or supervising the reconstruction of the city.
[Fufu my Lady is rather air headed, I bet she has not noticed my absence to much…] Terre thought to herself. She was not blaming Alicia, she just knew that was what she was like and even found her absent mindedness rather cute. But just as she was thinking this, Alicia stopped moving for a second and just stared into the night sky…
"Heyy Terre, its been a while since it has been just the two of us like this hasn't it? Even though before everyone arrived, it was only me, you and Mother…" Alicia says while being hit with some nostalgic thoughts.
"Hehe even though it is great having lots more friends, its nice just having some time just the two of us isn't it?" She then turns to face Terre with a stunningly beautiful and gentle smile, which reminded her so much of Petra's.
Terre stood there stunned by the beauty of her smile, as well as that Alicia was feeling the same way she was.
"… Indeed my Lady, it is very nice" Terre says finally snapping out of her trance and answering with her usual calming tone.
[How careless of me… I almost lost myself in her smile. Hehe… I never thought her wanting to spend time alone with me would make me feel this happy] Terre thought as looked down to hide her slightly blushing face.
Afterwards they continued chatting for a while and enjoying each other's company, until they began to hear a noise in the distance…
"..iciaaaaaaa….. ali…..aliciaaaaaaaa…"
Alicia turns her attention back to the skyline over the forest. It was incredibly dark, but the moon light dimly illuminated the forest and the plain in front of the city walls.
"Ah! Could it be!" She shouts excitedly as she searches the skyline for any indication that proved what she thought.
"aliciiaaaaaaaaaa…. Aliciaaaaaaaa!"
Then, what Alicia had been waiting for finally entered her line of sight. Flying over the trees of the large forest, was a big shadow that could not be mistaken. It was definitely a Dragon. By the constant joyful shouting that seemed to get louder and louder as the shadow got closer, there was also no mistaking who it could be…
"It is! It's her! MOTHERRRRR!" starts to wave and jump ecstatically, and then runs towards the edge of the wall. Terre could get guess what she was going to do…
"W-Wait my Lady, she will be here in a few seconds, so you don't need to go to her…"
"No time for that Terre!" Alicia says as she looks back one more time and gives a fearless smile, before jumping off the edge of the walls. Transforming into her Dragon form as she falls and then flying back towards the sky to meet Petra.
Watching this, Terre puts a hand on her shaking head…
[Fufu I will get the chance to discipline her one day.] Terre thinks to herself as she watches the foolish Mother and Daughter pair fly towards each other.
Not that knowing Terre's thoughts would have stopped Alicia from doing what she was doing now. When her Mother first left, she was quite sad. But she never thought that she would miss being with her Mother so much that she would jump off the walls to get to meet her quicker.
"MOTHERRRR!"
"MY ADORABLE ALICIAAA!"
As they start to get closer to each other, Alicia comes up with the idea to turn back into her humanoid form and use the momentum she has built up to land on Petra. That was the plan but…
"*Poof* MOTHERRR-Huhh-Urghhh…" "*Poof* ALICIAAA-Ah-URGhhhh…"
… Both Alicia and Petra had the same plan to try and jump onto each other's backs, so they ended up just crashing into each in mid air and dazed each other. They are then sent falling towards the ground while stuck together.
"…" (Terre)
Terre, who watched this from the walls, just wore a deadpan face while watching them fall from the sky into the forest below.
"*sigh* She only just gets back, and this is happening already…" Terre sighs to herself and puts a palm to her face while slightly complaining. Though underneath her hand, she is grinning slightly.
Terre then sends out a communication to one of her Ant Warrior groups, who patrol the outskirts of the forest, to go find where they have fallen too. She knew there was no doubt they would be fine, but she didn't want to them taking to long to come back.

Of course, true enough to her thoughts, the ants found them chatting away like they had not just fallen a great distance from the sky, leaving a dent in the ground where they landed.
"Did you see Mother!? I can change into my Dragon form really fast now!"
"Hehe I did indeed. Now come here and let me re-fill my Alicia energy…" As Alicia tried to tell her Mother how much she had improved in various things, Petra pulls her child into her massive hug.
"Haaaah I am definitely never going on a trip that long again, even if Grandmother asks me to." Petra sways from side to side as Alicia's face is wedged between her Mothers two large breasts.
"AhhH…mmmthe…ant reathe…" (Alicia)
"Hmmm? What is it Alicia?... Alicia?" (Petra)
"She seems to have passed out, my Lady" (Woman's Voice)
Petra looks over to where the voice came from, and out of that direction came some Warrior Ants that Terre had sent to collect them.
"Ara ara, Terre is that you?" Petra says confusedly towards the ants that were coming towards them, and then stopped a short distance away.
"Indeed, my Lady. I can now communicate through my minions and send messages through them. But in any case, you may want to release Lady Alicia from your iron grip hug." Terre says
"Ah! You are right! Alicia are you okay?... I am sure she will wake up soon…" (Petra)
"…" (Terre)
Alicia had completely passed out from the lack of oxygen, but she would soon wake up as Dragons recover from things like this rather quickly.
Petra and Alicia then start making their way back towards the wall, Alicia got a piggy back from her Mother until she eventually woke up. She did not remember what happened.
As they approached the gates of the city, they opened up and Terre came to meet them in person. Petra, seeing Terre ran up to her and gave her a large hug. Thankfully Terre was almost as tall as Petra, so she did not suffocate in her breasts like Alicia did and was able to tell her to not hug so tightly.
"Sooo what's happened since I have been gone you guys? I mean I sense quite a lot of creatures inside the city now, I was a bit worried that some monsters had overrun the city again."
"Ah that's right! Mother I made a lot of new friends! They were all being attacked and mistreated by this super awful creature, so I killed him and rescued them!..." Alicia said with a happy smile, but then she got a bit anxious as she remembered that this was her mother's territory, thinking that Petra might not want more creatures in her home.
"I said they can stay in the city… that's okay right?" Alicia says as she looks up at her Mother with upturned eyes and while slightly tugging on her yukata.
"…" (Petra)
The silence made Alicia feel even more anxious, thinking maybe her mother was thinking about kicking them out. But what was really going through Petra's head was…
[Soooooooooooo CUTE. I had forgotten how ADORABLE Alicia could be! Her cuteness could be weaponised it's that powerful!... Ahem, okay Petra, do not go out of control yet…. You have only just returned, give your daughter a calm, dignified reply…]
"Mother?" Alicia said once again, worry painted on her face as her eyes got slightly wet.
"… Ahem, of course that is okay Alicia. Any friend of yours must be a good and decent creature." Petra says in a calm manner while smiling down at her daughter.
[Nailed it!] Petra thought to herself.
She expected to see her daughter happy at her letting the creatures she invited stay, but she had a rather confused expression on her face. Petra wondered why…
"My Lady Petra, your nose is profusely bleeding." (Terre)
Terre soon ended her confusion as she pointed out her nose bleeding like a faucet. Alicia could not understand why, though Terre could imagine and foresaw something like this popping up. So, she brought some cloth to clear away any nose blood before it was seen.
Once the blood was cleared up and they had talked amongst themselves for a little bit, they began to head into the city to introduce the new citizens to their Queen.

As they went through the gates, Alicia begins telling her mother about Ignis, Vera and Aura who she had gotten to know quite well over the last few months.
As her daughter excitedly talked about all that had happened, they started to see a few people and a large bonfire in the middle of the central square of the city. They heard a lot of whispering, but as the three of them got closer and the creatures in the square saw them approach, it died down quickly.
They then entered the square and Terre directed them to a stage that was set in front of the large fire. Gasps of "How beautiful" and other such words left the Werewolves and Kitsunes mouths as they saw Petra for the first time.
The three then finally got onto the stage and Petra looked out onto the creatures in the square.
"Hello everyone, I am Petra Valensca. The Queen of this territory and mother of Alicia who I am told you all know quite well by this point. My daughter has given you permission to live in our city, and I do not intend to revoke that decision. So you may all carry on living here, but know that there will be harsh punishments for anyone who betrays my dear daughters trust…" Petra's eyes go incredibly serious as she says talks about betrayal, which makes everyone in the audience shudder.
"Hehe that is all I wanted to say… now please enjoy yourselves for the rest of the night!" Petra's aura instantly changes back to the kind and elegant aura she was giving off at first.
Though it takes a little while, everyone begins to celebrate. They do so late into the night as Petra mingles and meets every one of Alicia's new friends.

Eventually, Alicia and Petra make it back to the castle to get some rest and as Petra was about to head into her room...
"Hey Mother… I know that I usually protest when you ask me to sleep together with you… But can I…" Alicia goes bright red as she tries to work up the courage to ask Petra if she can sleep together with her.
"Hehe you don't need to say it Alicia. Now come, let's get tucked in together and have a cuddle before we sleep." Petra, seeing that Alicia was embarrassed thought it would be a bit mean to tease her when she is so tired, so says the words for her.
Alicia smiles and complies with what her Mother says, cuddling up to her body and getting comfortable quickly due to her mother's high body temperature.
"Haaah I really missed Mothers warmth…" Alicia whispers inadvertently as she drifts off to sleep.
Petra looks at her exhausted daughter and smiles lovingly.
"Goodnight, Alicia."
