Adventure Time!

One month later, Morning. Kingdom of Drakonia, City of Valen.

"La, la, la, goin' on an adventure, la, la, la…"

At this moment in time, a happy red-headed Dragon girl is happily skipping through a street, closely followed behind by two slightly less enthusiastic individuals.

"Urghhh, couldn't they have just given us some time off instead of just sending us off to do something which is basically more work for anyone but Alicia…" A Fox Demi-Human girl says as she slumps forward a little bit.

The Wolf Demi-Human next to her smiles slightly, as she watches her two companions with completely contrasting opinions on the task they were about to perform.

"Haha sorry Ignis, but Noa said this was very important. Plus, you must have known that you may have to do this when you agreed to become Lady Alicia's Knight? It's all part of the job I am afraid." The Wolf girl says to Ignis as they pass citizens working hard at their jobs early in the morning.

"Haaah… I know Vera, but I didn't know I would be this exhausted EVERY day when I accepted. I know she is a Dragon and all, but I still don't understand where she gets all of her energy from…" Ignis glances to her side and says to Vera.

"You say that Ignis, but I know that you enjoy being around Lady Alicia just as much as I do. Just like Lady Alicia's energy, her cuteness is boundless…" Vera says, her gaze getting more energetic as she continues to talk.

"I-I know Vera. I do enjoy being with her like this, but you need to stay calm when…"

"It is because of that cuteness that we need to be ready! In case someone becomes so entranced by her cuteness that they try to lure her away or kidnap her!" Vera, now shouting, interrupts Ignis while in a trance, thinking about the different scenarios in which Alicia could end up in danger of being kidnapped.

"… Yeaaaah, I feel like if someone kidnapped Alicia there would be a lot of prime suspects around this place, rather than outside…" Ignis says loud enough that Vera should be able to hear, if it was not due to her being in her own world.

"Hey, what are you guys talking about?"

"Hmm? Oh nothing important Alicia... If you consider Vera slowly morphing into someone like your Mother or Terre unimportant anyway…" Ignis says while glancing at the still entranced and mumbling Vera.

"… I don't really get it, but I love Mother and Terre and I think they are both great, so I guess I am not worried. Anyway, Come on! Let's hurry it up, I want to get going before it gets to dinner time!" Alicia says, not fully understanding what aspects of Vera's personality was becoming like Petra and Terre's.

"Right, right. Vera, time to snap out of it. Alicia wants us to get a move on so we can leave sooner." Ignis says while patting Vera on her shoulder to get her attention.

"AH! Hm? Oh, of course let us get moving to meet Noa then." Vera says with a slight blush of embarrassment.

They passed through the developing streets as they approached the Guild. Of course, almost all of the population at the moment was centred around the Adventurers Guild. Some of the people who have learned to craft clothes, furniture and weapons have set up little stores were people could trade items. The kingdom didn't have a currency, so the only thing they did at the moment was trade items for other items.

They continued forward and came across a big stone building, with a large courtyard and grassy field behind it, surrounded by some tall walls that had been newly built. This building was originally used as an experiment to see if the builders, that were now made up of all the races in the kingdom, could build their own building from scratch rather than just repair already built ones.

And this was the final result of that test, a three-story stone building on which you could walk onto the roof. As Alicia looked at it, it reminded her of her old school in the previous life. Alicia had spent a lot of time on the roof of that school building, fighting it out with delinquents who made the mistake of starting on her or, as it was back then, him.

[Hehe, it does indeed look like the school Maya and I went to…] Alicia though to herself nostalgically, when she heard a familiar voice…

"Miss Aura, we're done!" (Childish voice)

"Okay everyone, now we are going to move on to…" (Aura's voice)

She could hear Aura talking through one of the classroom windows. Although it was her day off, she was the best teacher and she was currently teaching not just a small amount of children, but also some other potential teachers who were trying to learn her techniques.

Although the kingdom had the magic books, that seemingly transferred knowledge to whoever would read them, the books had begun to lose their magic. After who knows how long of being unused, they seemed to finally be running out of whatever mysterious magic was keeping them going. Now they only seemed to transfer parts of the knowledge from the book, which just confused those reading it.

Therefore, to avoid relying on something that was not going to last much longer, Aura had started teaching subjects manually while also teaching other potential teachers.

Alicia thought about going in to check it out, but then thought against it…

"Come on guys they seem busy; we'll have a look inside when we get back from our trip." Alicia says while turning her back and setting back off to go to the Guild.

---

Eventually they found themselves in front of the doors to the Adventurers Guild. Once they walked inside they saw the body of a large boar type monster with big tusks and group of five, that were a mixture of Kitsunes and Werewolves, that were reporting their catch to the receptionist.

This was not such a rare sight in the last couple of weeks. The Kingdom now had groups called adventurers, many of whom were formerly our hunters, like they had in the old Kingdom. The only thing that really changed here in the last month or so is the name of the people who accept requests from the Guild building and how strong they are. It had gotten to the point where they had gone from just being able to defeat small and rather weak monsters, to the ability and strength to defeat larger monsters like this boar.

Alicia and co. walked past the giddy group and up the stairs to what was formerly Terre's office at the Guild, and knocked on the door.

*Knock, Knock, Knock*

"Noaaaaaa, you in?" Alicia says as she beats the door.

"Y-Yes! Come in!" a small cute voice stutters, making Alicia smile mischievously as she opens the door.

"H-Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and ready to-Ah…" While Noa was talking, Alicia had run up to Noa and put an arm round him, pulling him in close to her.

"Hehe you are so cute Noa, the girls must be falling over themselves whenever you are around." Alicia says trying to provoke a reaction out of him.

It works as well. Noa's cute and feminine face was blushing furiously as he tried to back away from Alicia, only to be pulled in closer to her. Although Alicia was aiming to make him embarrassed and blush, which had in her eyes now been accomplished, he was not doing so for the reasons she had intended.

She had thought that her words would embarrass him and get a nice reaction out of him, but it was something else that was making him act this way…

"A-Alicia, I-I am t-t-too close…" Noa stuttered out as he continued to try back up.

"Hmmm?" Alicia responded with a confused look. She did not let go of him straight away, she just looked down at him to try and understand what her meant. Then she saw it. Noa's head and face were extremely close to her breasts and would every so often brush against them as he tried to get away only to be pulled back into them.

"Oh…. AH!" Once she realises what was happening, she suddenly jumps away from the crimson faced Noa while holding her chest. She never thought she would experience being embarrassed at the fact her boobs were touched, with being a former guy and all.

"Sorry Noa!" (Alicia)

"Sorry Alicia!" (Noa)

"Haaah, are you guys done?" (Ignis)

Both of them apologise at the same time and are then interrupted by Ignis who is doing, by this point, her trademark rubbing her head, while Vera stands next to her with a difficult smile on her face.

[Things really never change do they…] Ignis complained in her head, while Vera…

[Grrrr, Noa stealing all of the attention… Damn his cuteness…] Just had had strange jealous thoughts.

Eventually they got down to business and started to discuss why Noa had requested Alicia do this job. Just the fact she was told that it was a job only Alicia could do made her very excited.

"Okay then, some of our adventurers who were out exploring a new area just outside of the mountain range discovered some new monsters. However, these were not just any monsters, these were humanoid monsters known as Lizardmen. They communicated with our adventurers and told them to back off, the adventurers did as they were asked and came back here to report it. We are hoping to convince them to join us here so we can increase our population, hence we would like to send our Queen and her Knights to negotiate." Noa explained, while taking the report he had wrote for the incident and passing it to Vera.

Alicia meanwhile, her excitement was going off the charts by this point, meeting new potentially strong opponents who may challenge her on the spot and going to a new area she had yet to explore. It all sounded amazing to her.

"So yeah that's all the information I can giv-"

"GREAT! So can we leave straight away right?!" Alicia stands up from the chair she had taken a seat in and slammed her hands on the desk, leaning forwards towards Noa. Her eyes shining so brightly from the anticipation that Noa found it difficult to look at her.

"Y-Yes you can, but I think Terre and your Mother will both want to say goodbye and wish you luck before you leave the Kingdom for the first time." Noa reminds her before she goes charging off into the forest to meet the Lizardmen.

"Ah, yeah you're right I should go say bye to them. You guys coming with me?" Alicia asks the two behind her, knowing they might want to go see some other people before they left.

"Hmmm, I want to go see Mother before I leave. So I shall head off to the school for a little bit and then I'll come meet you guys." (Ignis)

"Yeah I'll stay here for a little bit longer with Noa and sort out the last few details of the request, so shall we all meet at the Southern Gate of the city?" Vera asks Ignis and Alicia, to which they both nod.

They were not going to be away for too long. But because they were leaving the kingdoms territory, a first for Alicia and the first time in a few months for the other two, they wanted to make sure that the others, who were not coming, are not too worried about them.

---

Alicia's first stop was to see Terre. She was told that Terre was by the broken giant water fountain with a bunch of trainee builders and engineers. Alicia guessed that she was trying to get it to work again, as well as trying to save some of the stone artwork that adorned it.

Sure enough, as she got closer to the water fountain, she could spot some figures standing around it as if inspecting it. Within this group, she soon spotted the tall, gorgeous Terre staring at the fountain with interest. She looked very deep in thought, so Alicia decided to try and give her a surprise.

"TERRE!"

She charges straight towards the unknowing Terre and jumps onto her back, giving her a big hug from behind as she does. Though she barely moves thanks to how light and small Alicia is.

"Hmmm? Oh my Lady, have you come to say your farewells before you leave?" Terre says glancing back at Alicia and rubbing her head with one of her four arms.

"Terre you can at least act a bit surprised to see me you know…" Alicia says with a pout, while jumping down off of Terre's back.

"Fufufu I am sorry my Lady. I was initially slightly surprised about getting jumped on, but I quickly realised that there is only one person who would do such a thing in this kingdom. So I quickly calmed down once I knew it was you." Terre explains with a warm smile.

"Hmph… I am still a bit annoyed… but I suppose I shall let it pass this time." Alicia says, though Terre was unsure why Alicia would be angry at her for Alicia's own unpredictability.

"Anyway, how's the water fountain rebuilding going?" Alicia asked curiously, leaning to look around Terre at the fountain.

"It's fine, we have only just started examining it to be honest. So it may be a while yet before we are able to get it flowing again." Terre says, turning to look at the fountain as well.

The two chat for a while longer before Alicia says that she needs to go say goodbye to Petra as well. The two have a big hug and then Terre sends Alicia on her way with a smile while telling her to be careful when she is out.

Alicia then needed to see her mother next before she left. Apparently, she was down in the plain in front of the city walls training with Haila and the imperial guards. The Imperial Guards were a small group at the moment because they had a very small population. It was mostly made up of evolved Ant Warriors who were used to being part of an army while part of the colony. There were a Kitsune and a Werewolf in the ranks but the rest in the small group of ten, not including Haila, were the evolved ants.

With there being no army to train yet, Mother decided that between going out and hunting she would help train the Imperial Guards. This was until we had a big enough population to be able to form an army.

As Alicia left the gates, she spotted the group lightly sparring with each other, as Petra and Haila watched while shouting encouragement and advice from the side-lines.

"MOTHER!" Alicia shouted and waved as she walked over to where her Mother was.

"Ah! My darling Alicia!" Petra, hearing her daughters voice, excitedly turns to where Alicia is and begins running towards her. Her magnificent body swaying as she ran would be enough to make most people turn to look, especially to look at a certain area.

Although this maybe captivating to some, it would even for Alicia in her previous life if he did not know Petra and just saw her walking about. However, to the current Alicia she could tell that something was going to happen as the destructive swaying mounds approached her rapidly. And just as she thought…

"Aliciaaaaaa-oops…" Petra trips in a pothole as she was just about to get to Alicia…

"…" Alicia could only watch with a deadpan face as her Mother fell towards her, and is soon after squished underneath her Mother body.

"AH! ALICIAAA!" Petra jumps off of Alicia as quickly as she can and became worried that she might have accidently knocked out her daughter again.

"I am okay Mother, I'm not hurt… haaah, why am I so much smaller…"

Thankfully, this time Alicia was not squashed to the point of passing out. Though she did have a dazed look on her face and a small bump on the back of her head. In fact the thing that injured her the most was once again being reminded of the size difference, in various places.

After a little while of apologising, the two began to talk normally about battling and how Alicia needs to be careful on the outside. Petra at this moment in time, was looking like the stereotypical worried Mother who was trying to make sure her daughter was prepared and had everything she needed for her short trip.

Once Petra was satisfied, she picked up Alicia into a princess carry and gave her a kiss on the forehead…

"Hehe I know you will be fine Alicia, but just remember to stay cautious. The world outside can, at times, not be a forgiving place to those who are not so. Just remember everything Terre and I have taught you, remember it is okay to rely on your friends and you will be fine." Petra says, showing her daughter a wonderful smile as she lowered her back to the ground.

Alicia was often mesmerised by her Mothers beauty, but soon came to and gave her a big smile back…

"Hehe don't worry Mother, I am the daughter of the strongest living thing in this world! And as you said Ignis and Vera are coming with me so everything will be absolutely fine." Alicia shouts.

"Ara, Ara your flattery is making me blush dear daughter hehe…"

They chat together for a little bit longer before Ignis and Vera arrive outside the gates, letting Alicia know they are ready. Alicia and Petra share one last hug before she runs to go meet her two Knights. Petra smiles as she watches her leave, before going back to the training.

---

"Okay! one last check we have everything girls..."

Alicia and co. check they have everything they need before finally setting off into the forest…

"Alright ladies! Our mission is to find and convince the Lizardmen people to join our kingdom, this trip could last a week or two so let's get to it!" Alicia shouted

Her Knights nodded strongly with a determined look in their eyes. Satisfied with their response, Alicia turns and marches towards the forest.
