"Your Majest--"

"I told you not to call me that didn't I? That royal family makes me feel sick just hearing about them."

"A-ah sorry, I mean Sir Carlos. I have gotten your stuff ready for tomorrow. You're ready to leave for the magic academy, right?"

"Yes. Jake, how many people are in the black magic class?"

"Including you, there's only 4..."

"4? I thought it was 3."

"One managed to join last minute. Claire Chambers."

"Ahh... that shy kid...that duke's obedient daughter. Apparently she's obedient to the point it gets annoying! Why would she just take all that abuse? School won't be very interesting then."

Phew. Nearly done packing. I'm really curious about Sir Carlos... Did Rose and him ever meet? Will he fall for Rose if they do? How much power does he have for even the royal family to bow down to him? Ugh, my head is bursting. He'll probably be like every other guy and fall for her haha...

Once, I arrived at the school, I was in awe of how big the school was. The novel explained that but still....

"Sister, I hope you get comfortable in the black magic class. And, don't worry about me! I'll be fine in the light magic class!"

Ugh, it almost seemed like she was bragging about how she was blessed with light magic and I was cursed with black magic. But I heard black magic is way stronger so I'll show her!

"Mm. Okay."

I arrived at my dorm and apparently today was just meant to be us looking around and getting comfortable. Okay, so Rose and Claire are the same age so right now I'm probably 16.

I've also just heard that there were 3 other people in the dark magic class. One of them might be Sir Carlos but who are the other two?

Suddenly, a sharp pain struck me.

Ack!

(Rose entered the forest, desperate to find her dog. She called his name a lot but really couldn't find him. A huge gust of wind struck her as she squealed at its power. In front of her she saw a man around the same age as her. He had red blood eyes and her black hair. The eyes looked... empty. He then snapped his finger and that same gust of wind struck her again. When she opened her eyes...he disappeared. Rose told herself that she will be friends with him the next time they meet and she will take the emptiness out of him.)

Ah! That passage was in chapter 7 of the book. They did meet! At the time I read it, I really wanted them to meet again but the book ended with her becoming the empress.

Actually I heard from the maids that the crown prince is currently in competition with Sir Carlos for the throne but Sir Carlos hasn't really shown interest in it.

I know the crown prince takes the throne because Rose chooses him out of all her suitors and becomes empress at the end. She obviously picks the person with the most power.

It still doesn't make a difference as the Emporer would still bow down to Sir Carlos. He just got that much power.

If she did meet Sir Carlos again and he fell in love with her, then would she pick him instead of the prince? No...she picked the prince because of personality not power...right? Haha yeah! Rose is just too naive to know about this stuff.

She didn't even understand when people spread rumours that she was seducing them, she wasn't able to understand this as she thought that they were only there as "friends"

But we all knew she was pretending to portraying an image for them.

"Miss, you've gotten a letter from Lady Rose."

I took the letter and as predicted, it was to eat lunch with her. Most likely so she can brag about the guys she seduced.

Lunch wasn't anything special. Rose was boasting about her "friends" and the 3 "friends" were shooting glares at me thinking I'm going to spread malicious rumours about their precious Rose out of jealousy.

I decided to take a walk on the dark magic garden. Each section has a garden that students grow with their magic. It's almost like a competition of who could grow theirs the best.

I feel it's unfair for the black magic students as there are only 4 people here. I stepped outside to have a look at the garden. It was surprisingly good! This must be the doing of Sir Carlos. He does have the power after all.

There was another person in the garden as well. Ah! This person must be a student! Time to make friends! It looks like a girl. She has light purple hair and she seemed to be crying?

Wait is that the villainess that kills Claire?
