The World

Circe had been walking around Orario for the last few hours, not sure what to do. The girl, for the last few days, had been hearing a voice in her mind. It had been a few weeks since she awoke in the Loki Familia's campsite and made her way outside of the dungeon. Then, when she made her way back to the Guild, Ouranos informed her she would be joining the god to the Denatus tomorrow.

Circe was a bit angry because she whenever she asked why, Ouranos would never answer her.

The girl, for the last few days, had been hearing a voice in her mind. She was frustrated because whenever it seemed to be about to say something important, she began to hear a small breeze in her mind and the voice stopped talking.

The mage scoffed to herself in frustration before looking back at her newly updated status sheet.

She was angry because not only did she not know who had made a mental connection with her, but apparently a deity was messing with their connection, not letting the girl obtain any information.

The sorceress looked up from her status sheet to find herself in front of a place called the 'Hostess of Fertility.' The young girl looked inside to make sure the establishment wasn't what she thought it was. Then, seeing it was only a place to eat, decided to enter.

An elf in what Circe assumed to be the uniform for the establishment walked up to her. She had lime green hair and sky blue eyes. "Hello there, come with me, I'll get you a table."

Circe gave the waitress a simple nod before following the elf to a simple seat at the bar.

Then, even though the girl had yet to order anything, multiple dishes that were obviously far to much for her were set in front of her. After that, even though the food was already more than she could fit inside of her body, a drink was set down next to her.

"Okay....so I know I'm new here, but I'm pretty sure I'm supposed to order before you start giving me food. After all, that's how establishments such as this one are supposed to function to my knowledge, but what do I know."

The elf simply gave the girl a nod before walking off the serve others.

"....So what? Do I have to pay for all of this now?" Circe practically shouted, even though no one in the busy building seemed to care.

------

Hecate was grinning wildly as relief filled her heart. She had just figured out the magical array she would need to make to descend instantly.

She simply had to make a few preparations for the mortal realm and she could descend to save her daughter from the fate that Ouranos had planned for her.

Then, the goddess heard a knock on the door of her workshop and in walked a small child with hair that looked to be the surface of the world and had a halo of clouds above her.

Hecate, seeing the goddess enter, quickly sent a spell to make all her arrays undetectable. "Hello, Gaia, it's nice to see you, is there something you need? I'm rather busy currently."

The young girl, Gaia, simply chuckled before sitting on top of one of the tables inside of Hecate's workshop. "You don't have to hide your plans Hecate, I already know you've been making progress at descending prematurely. I simply wish to offer my help. After all, I feel bad for you're daughter and wish to save her from Ouranos."

Hecate narrowed her eyes at the primordial. "This isn't like you Gaia, what is your end game here?"

The goddess let out a chuckle. "You are always so paranoid. Can't I just want to help one of my descendants?"

"People can; you can't. Just tell me what you can offer me and what I'll need to give you in return."

Hearing this, the primordial gave a soft smile before stating what she can offer.

------

Hecate let out a sigh as Gaia exited her workshop. She had agreed to Gaia's deal, even though she knew it would ultimately be a bad choice.

The goddess understood that logically she should have denied the offer Gaia gave, but her love for her child that she had only met for a few minutes seemed to trump her logical thinking.

Sadly, the goddess couldn't even back out of the deal as Gaia had forced the deal to be made on a Divine Vow. This was an oath that made it so if broken, the deity that broke the contract would lose all their divinity, something that is akin to losing your life.
