Whole firework

"What? there is nothing to tell" I said avoiding her gaze.

She narrowed her eyes and said accusingly.

"You and Cha Min just came into the class together, holding hands, talking sweetly and that too just after the first date and you are saying "there is nothing to tell"

Again the speech in a single breath

"We were not holding hands" I said

"and thats the only part you got" she arched an eyebrow at me.

"Well.. " I was about to speak and just then the bell rang

'Saved by the bell' I thought and grinned at her

She gave me a glare and mouthed "Later"

She gave me a look which clearly said 'You better' I gave her a salute and took out book for english. For next few hours we were both busy with classes.

When the lunch came around Yoona and I went to get our lunch.

I saw Cha Min sitting with his friends, I gave him a smile. Yoona nudged at me to keep going in the line. She couldn't contain her excitement anymore.

We took out lunch and exited the cafeteria to go to our spot. It was on the railings near the sports ground. We always used to come here to eat out lunch and have deep discussions.

Yoona sat and excitedly looked at me and said

"So... dont you dare to keep me waiting anymore"

I sighed and begin to tell her about yesterday.

I told him about the spot and math lecture and how much talented Cha Min is.

"Hmm.. he surely sounds smart and also genuine about teaching you."

She thought about a moment and asked me

"So were there sparks?"

I blushed and thought 'Whole firework'

She took my blushing as yes and grinned at me.

I asked Yoona to divert her attention from this topic.

"What about you. You have to tell me something as well?"

Yoona exitedly said.

"How do you know that? Yes I also have to tell you something. There is a dance competition in the city and the winner is going to start as trainee in 'Step and Tap' dance academy." She was practically bouncing on her spot almost throwing the food tray down.

"Hehe Yoona calm down. Wow, thats so awesome. Its a great opportunity for you" and now was my time for bouncing on spot.

We grinned at each other.

Yoona was an amazing dancer. She has been dancing from as long as I can remember and she is very good at it too. I have never missed a single performance of hers. No matter if its a school level play or a competition somewhere else.

"I know. I already sent a routine and I got selected too"

"Waaah... my most talented friend"

She coughed, rolled her eyes and said "I am your only friend"

"Heyyyyy" I screamed at her

"Hehe... may be thats not true anymore" she said mischievously.

I ignored that part and said

"Mrs. Ling must be so happy that you got selected"

Mrs. Ling was Yoonas' dance teacher.

"Of course she is. She said we have to train even harder to win the competition."

We looked at each other and said at the same time mimicking Mrs. Ling "Eyes on the goal girl, Eyes on the goal"

and then burst out laughing.

Yoona gave me an anxious smile and said "I am nervous though. Its big opportunity. I dont want to mess it up."

I took her hand in mine and said "And you wont. I am 100% confident you are going to win this"

Yoona beamed at me and asked "You will come to see the first performance right? You know I'll need you there"

"Have I ever missed a single performance of yours?"

"No"

"Exactly. I'll be there no matter what"
