Chapter 99 - 2 Months to decided

Aile mostly enjoyed hearing Fiona, Sara and Hazel's captivating laugh. Sophie, Leia and the four assistants of Fiona and Emily's giggles and whispers and catching Emily's and Diana's gaze. He loved the jokes and joyous faces of everyone.

He was annoyed that he had to spend most of his time connecting to his energy channels and missing out on the opportunity to create more moments like this. He soon corrected his mindset and started enjoying what he had and stopped worrying about what he could have had.

The night became very memorable, as everyone gathered and enjoyed themselves and talked with Laila.

Occasionally the mood dipped down a little, as no-one wanted a member of the family to leave. But at the same time, they wanted Laila to improve, everyone had mix feelings about her departure.

The food was ready with the tantalizing smell that made everyone's mouth water. Soon everyone ate.

Then they talked for a bit more and said their goodbye's to Laila. Everyone wished her well while Sophie and Sara's eyes became moist from the built-up of tears as they said goodbye to their friend.

After the lengthy goodbye, Sophie, Sara and everyone else left with a reluctant lingering gaze on Laila.

The ones that remained were Laila, Leia and Aile. Night had descended, and as Aile looked at the full moon, it reminded him of Laila's crystalline eyes. He sighed she had not even left yet, and he has already started to miss her.

Laila held Aile in a tight hug, and he gently brushed her hair while they walked into the house. She held him tighter and tighter as they walked. It seemed that she wanted to merge with him.

Aile was tempted to just tell her to stay. But he resolved himself to let her go and progress, after all, this was a magnificent opportunity for her. They reached the room, Aile and Leia help Laila pack some of her stuff.

Aile also gave her some of his treasured talismans, that he has collected over the years. He also gave her a chainmail and other protective measures, from the treasure room, he also brought her a mask without any opening.

This was because he was worried that other people will see her eyes and she could be in danger because of them. Laila took every opportunity to stay close to Aile. Soon everything for Laila's trip was packed into a small bag. Things were getting more real as the bag for her travel was ready, and Leia started to finally understand that her sister was actually leaving.

Leia was the bigger sister, but she had come to rely on Laila, so to her, a big part of her life was going to change. She came and sat down next to Laila, hugged her and said, "Be careful and make sure to come back often!"

Laila only nodded, she was not sure that she could hold back her tears if she talked with her. Soon the three of them were lying on the bed. After talking for a bit, Leia was the first to fall asleep.

Laila turned her body to face Aile, and she used her hand to trace over his face. After a few caresses, she said, "Are you going to remember me?"

Aile was surprised and asked, "What?"

"When I am gone, will you remember me?"

"Of course, I will."

"I once heard that time would make us forget everything, will it be the same for you."

Aile mimicked her hand, and gently caressed her face and said, "Do you know just now when we were downstairs, and I looked at the moon, I thought of your beautiful eyes. I think I already miss you, so there is no way I would forget you."

"I think I will miss you too, do you think it was a bad decision to go?"

Aile sighed, "I think this journey will allow you to grow, give it a try. If you are not satisfied, you can always come back. We will be meeting each other in 2 months. Remember I made her take the vow to bring you as often as possible because I knew I will be missing you, and you can have an opportunity to leave if you want."

"Thank you."

She then brought her face close to Aile's. Using her hand, she felt his face until she reached his mouth, which she gently caressed. She then guided her face and kissed him on the lips. Aile's heart started to beat faster, and once the lips connected, he felt a soft sensation. He savoured the experience and kissed her back. He was relishing her delicious lips. After a few seconds of kissing, she moved her head back, while she was clearly blushing. Aile quickly gave her a peck on the blushing cheeks then whispered to her, "I want another one tomorrow too." She faced the other way and did not say anything apart from a snort. Aile responded by extending his hand and holding her tightly.

Her slim waist shuddered after Aile's touch. She wiggled a little and finally, after a while, she accepted and nestled into him, soon both of them fell asleep, forgetting about tomorrow.

The gentle rays of sunshine entered the room, and Aile opened his eyes and saw Laila's beautiful face, while her hands were holding him close. Aile tried to wake her up by slowly massaging her, as she tenderly moved her body to enjoy it.

She opened her eyes and had a satisfied smile. They then talked for a bit more, and Laila started to have a bit of a depressing atmosphere once she mentioned she would be leaving. Aile tried to cheer her up, but it did not work.

Then Aile traced her face with his hand and then mimicked her action of caressing her lips. Aile said, "I want another one." She blushed, and after a few seconds moved her face closer to his, Aile similarly responded. Soon they were relishing each other's lips again.

Shortly after Aile noticed some movement on the other side of the bed, in that moment of distraction, Laila broke the kiss and escaped to the washroom.

Aile then got out of the bed and started to get into his morning routine of exercises and stretches, after adding the light chainmail and the mask on top of Laila's clothes. Leia woke up and joined Aile. Laila was out soon, Aile went to the washroom and took a quick bath, allowing Laila and Leia some more alone time.

He came back, and Diana had brought breakfast. Sara, Sophie, Emily and Hazel had joined in. Aile went and sat between Sara and Sophie and had breakfast.

After breakfast, the lady with a red mask came from her room and looked at Laila, she then said, "It is time to go."

Laila then gave everyone a hug and said her goodbyes. Aile said, "See you in 2 months."

Laila was wearing the mask concealing her face.

The lady and Laila sat on her red mount, and slowly they left. Aile wore a long robe and a scarf on his face, concealing it, followed them to the gate. Before exiting the gate, the lady in the red mask looked at his direction and nodded at him. They left.

Aile kept his eyes on the gate for some time after them. Soon he sighed, Laila was gone. He was just planning to go back when he heard.

"Stop him."

"Stop him."

He saw a skinny boy around the age of 15, holding a loaf of bread running away from the guards of the White Clan. He was around his height and was running with a lot of determination.

Aile decided to follow him. After a few turns, the skinny boy looked around and did not see the guards. Aile sighed as one of the guards was sneakily following the boy. The boy took a few turns, and at the edge of the town in a semi collapse house, he entered.

At the house were 3 other boys around his age and a girl a little younger. They were all wearing scraps. Once he arrived, everyone gathered around him, and he cut the bread equally and handed a piece to everyone.

"So... this is... where you rats have been staying," said the guard that followed them.

The others looked at boy a bit annoyed that he led the guard to their hideout, but contrary to expectation, they did not start an internal fight. All of them rushed towards the guard a tried to hit him in his weakened areas.

They aimed at his knee, balls, stomach, neck and feet. They each had a place, and they seemed to be well versed in this kind of fighting. However, the guard was much more experienced than the ordinary town guards. Thus, he dodged it.

All of them had a surprised expression, and the one that was followed said, "You guys go, I will hold them back."
