Chapter 104 - Sophie's Special Day

Then Aile went back to connecting with the energy channels, after meditating for a half an hour he managed to get Fiona's body and lips out of his mind. He had lost around 6 hours, but Aile did not regret it. He felt ecstatic, remembering her and how their relationship progressed. Time passed, and soon the rays of light for the next day entered the room. Today was going to be Sophie's birthday. Aile was anticipating a lot. But before anything he had to go to meet Leia.

He felt that he had not paid attention to her much, especially today since he had progressed his relationship with Emily and Fiona. Aile felt that he had cheated Leia. He had become more intimate with others while his relationship with his wife Leia remained stagnant. He went to his room and saw her sleeping while hugging a pillow.

She had gotten used to hugging Aile every night when he was not around, she would hug a pillow to fall asleep. Emily had even complained that they needed to carry an extra pillow for her during missions. At times Emily, Sophie or Iris became her pillow.

However, even her trips outside were decreased. After Aile was informed that she was special and it would be even more dangerous if an experienced person sees her.

She too agreed to reduce her visits outside. The last time was still fresh in her mind when they were all forced to come back. Only they were lucky that the lady with the red mask had ended up bringing them to Aile. If it was someone else, what would happen to them, it was too risky to just leave, not only would she be in danger but so would everyone else. From then on, she had spent most of her time practising the new cultivation technique in the house.

Aile sat by her side and started to massage her, after a few minutes, she tenderly opened her eyes and pulled Aile into her embrace. She closed her eyes again while hugging Aile. The room was a bit chilly, and the cuddling became even more comfortable.

Aile was just too relaxed, and he slowly dozed off.

Aile opened up his eyes and saw Leia eyes observing him. He noticed that he had been holding her, and she was stuck next to him.

Aile smiled at her and said, "Did I keep you here for long?" Aile noticed that the intensity of light had not changed too much at most he had napped or 1 hour.

"No, it was... pleasant," Leia said as her voice was low in volume by the end.

Aile nodded involuntarily, then she said with a blush, "Let's get ready, its Sophie's special day."

Aile gave her soft body a long hug, then let her go. She went to get dressed and take a bath. Aile stretched his body in the bed and enjoyed the lingering scent of Leia.

Leia had kept on getting more beautiful with the new cultivation and over the years. She was getting more and more to Aile's liking. Aile was just thinking about that when he changed his thoughts. Ever since the kiss with Laila, he had been thinking about the people around him more and more sensually.

He sighed was this normal, or was there more to it.

From his inherited memories, he knew that this did not happen to The-Voice. Aile thought maybe, it was due to his solitary lifestyle. He stopped thinking about it and would research it more in the future. Perhaps he would ask one, two, three and four if they were the same.

He then thought about what to get Sophie, he had asked her, and she said to give her another wish to cash in some time. She was getting more cunning, although Aile knew she would not do anything overboard but was it really ok to create such predicament. What if someone else asks for a wish to cash in later.

In the end, he sighed he really liked her and did not want to reject her request. After all, she and Sara were with him for around 16 years. Why should he worry about them?

He knows them well enough to know they will not go overboard. Even without this wish, Aile would give Sophie whatever she asks for. It would only make it easier for her this way.

Soon Leia got out of the bath, and before Aile's tongue lolled out of his mouth, seeing her dressed minimally, he went inside the bathroom to get a bath himself. Unbeknownst to him, Leia had a victorious grin seeing his reaction.

Shortly, Aile was out of the bath and wore another attire that Sara bought him. Over the years Sara had pretty much chosen almost all of his articles of clothing. At first, the others tried to challenge Sara and purchased some stuff for Aile, but eventually, they gave up. Sara was just very good at it, and now she was mostly responsible for his clothes.

Aile wore everything and headed towards a small-sized hall in the mansion. Sophie wanted to celebrate with just a few people. Sara, Hazel, Diana and the girl that she took in (Zero), Fiona, Emily, Iris, Fiona's three assistant and Leia were present. No one else. Sophie just prefered for everyone along with Aile to have a gathering. As generally, they all had things to do and gathering like this was rare.

Like this another day full of excitement brewed. Everyone pitched-in differently. The more reserved people like Iris, Emily and Sophie talked minimally. But their smiles and occasional input created a sense of warmth. Fiona and her three assistant were always introducing different topics and keeping the conversation going. Hazel and Diana would involve everyone to bring a different perspective, inspiring everyone. Sara, Leia and Sophie would create minor conflicts with each other, and then makeup bringing an uplifting atmosphere.

The day passed very quickly with everyone enjoying. Emily and Fiona kept their distance from Aile as they were gobsmacked on how to react around Aile after their intimate moments. They did not want to give anything away. Another issue was Xue. She had gotten close to everyone as she is an essential part of the business. However, Aile had been keeping his distance from her, he does not want to give up his identity as Shadow as she is very preceptive. Thus, she was not invited. This constant distance in large events has created a rift with her.

Danny is usually travelling every opportunity he gets. He enjoys that, thus he is rarely there and Diana does not mind it anymore. In fact, every time she sees him, she becomes happier as he is getting his life together. Soon it was nighttime, and everyone wished Sophie their best. Emily asked Sophie along with Aile to stay back. It was time for the big reveal.

Emily looked at Sophie and Aile, who was looking at her, and she became more apprehensive. Pursing her lips, she felt her neck and took out a small neckless, that had a small ball attached to it. She touched her face with the tiny golden coloured ball and suddenly as if her skin was pulled her face distorted and changed completely.

Her face changed from a triangle shape to heart shape. Her eyes turned from dark black to a light brown with sparks of gold into it. Her reddish-brown hair remained the same. She was more beautiful, and this new look suited her much more.

She then looked at everyone and said, "As you can see, I have not been honest with both of you."

Sophie looked at her with a surprised gaze.

Emily continued, "I had promised to take care of you until you are 16 years old and then tell you everything."

Sophie said, "What is it that you want to tell me?"

Emily was very emotional and then said, "I am not your mother, years ago, your mother saved me. Then she got sick and made me promise to take care of you till you are 16."

Sophie was flustered and emotionally confused.

Aile understood why Emily was feeling so down recently. This was a big bombshell of news, and it was hard to know how Sophie and Aile would react.

Emily looked at Sophie's complicated expression and then at Aile. When he saw the way Aile looked at her did not change, she got more encouragement.

Sophie finally said in a questioning tone, "Why did you hide your face from me?"

Emily replied, "I did not want others to question our relationship as we do not look very close to each other."

Sophie then gave a sigh, "So it was not because you did not trust me."

Aile and Emily looked at Sophie confusedly, as that was what she was focused on.

Seeing their reaction, Sophie said, "W-why, are you looking at me like that?"

Emily asked, "I lied to you about being your mother, are you not mad at me?"
