Chapter 111 - Light and Dark Balance 

Diana looked at him and nodded sheepishly, and there was anticipation visible on her eyes. Aile knew that was due to her eagerness to improve quickly, and she too just wanted to run back to her room and train together with Zero. Aile released his grip from the hug and tenderly stroked her back, to which she responded by twisting her waist a little and rubbing herself on Aile.

"I know you are eager to cultivate you can go and train."

She was ashamed of how out of character she behaved right now and quickly left while muttering, "Thank you." As soon as she left the room, Diana scolded her self for being too childish and acting uncharacteristically. She told herself that she would take a step back from being too close to him and decided to let Zero take her job. After Emily and Fiona left, Diana spent all her time with Aile. Making her life to be centred around him. She knew that if they continue like that she will not be able to hold back, she whispered, "If only you could have met me 19 years ago."

As soon as Diana left, Aile went back into his soul and checked on it. There he noticed that the dark side was much bigger than before, and this was without any interference. He had kept an eye on the body's original soul, and he had not interfered this time. This was not good.

The dark half was excitedly pulsating, as his mind started to observe it and calm down, the dark side slowly restored to its previous state.

After observing for a bit more, his thought immediately drifted back to Diana's body as his mind was not focused elsewhere. The dark side started to pulsate again. Noticing this, Aile tested it with a few different thoughts to find out what triggers it.

Aile came to a realization, the more he thinks about something that evokes his emotion, the dark part of his soul would intensify that thought process. With the higher intensity, he would think more about it turning into an obsession.

He thought it is no wonder most people with dark element become Evil Cultivators. If every desire turns to obsession, it is no surprise that they turn to the easiest path to fulfil them.

Aile then thought if he could use the light to suppress the dark element. The opposite of intensifying an emotion would be to control it. The best way for that is meditation, so Aile started to meditate and then observed his soul. Soothing energy exited the light-part of his soul and slowly calmed down everything. Only it was much slower to dominate.

Aile realized that light and dark balance is not met in his soul. He needs to start the light element cultivation to increase its effectiveness and improve the light part of his soul enough to calm down the dark side. Now, It nearly took double the time for it to calm down the dark side. He understood that his emotions were intensified by the dark side for a long time now.

Perhaps with the kiss with Laila or before that with Hazel. He did not mind this, as those were fond memories. But he worried what would happen if he was angry, or becomes too greedy or envious...

He wondered if it is his intensified greed that is making him create another adventurer's union. This frightened him and decided to find a solution.

He got out of his soul area and activated the Myriad Book of Stars. He then entered the Light of Absolution into the book.

'Upgrade for 3 energies'

Aile agreed immediately, his energy-units reduced from 33 to 30.

After 20 minutes he got the cultivation, "Absolute Light" from the book.

As soon as he got the cultivation, he started to cultivate and attract the light elements towards him.

He chanted and meditated while pulling the light element around him. With his guidance, the light energy particles moved into his energy channels. As they circulated and deposited in different areas, it gave Aile a very soothing sensation. It also affected his mind, he became much more peaceful now.

With a calmer mentality, he did not second guess himself, and he knew that having the advantage of the militaristic dominance in Port Kiar was essential for their safety.

He tested his emotions again, and their intensity had decreased. Aile exhaled deeply in relief. He was glad that this worked. The balance of the two elements was crucial. Before even cultivating, there was already a misalignment in his soul. Aile needed to pay attention to this from now on. With his brief progress in absorbing light elements, he calculated he will need around ten days to create a balance in his soul again.

Meaning that he also has ten days to find a dark element cultivation from the Heavenly Book of Myriad Stars, before the light element is the cause of imbalance.

Aile realized why the dark element cultivators acted on impulse and emotion. While the people who cultivated light element were generally stoic. One enhances and empowers emotions, while the other removes their burden.

Aile was thinking when the door to the room opened again, it was Leia. She was now twenty years old, her body and height had developed. She had a beautiful hourglass type of body. Her sense of dress had changed a little. She now wore skin-tight black clothing covered by a multicoloured looser clothing, covering her body and giving her the appearance of a rectangular body type. Reducing the attention she received.

Her shy personality had not changed much, and she only ever talked with Laila, Sophie, Sara and Aile. Now that they were gone she became more anti-social, and Aile got worried about her. She came inside and immediately became jovial. She then looked around, seeing no one was around she jumped into Aile's embrace.

Aile too had missed her, so he held her very tight. After a few minutes, when Aile's mind exited the joy of a simple hug. He noticed her curvy body that wrapped around him tightly.

He was tempted, and his mind gave him reasons to continue.

'She is your wife, why are you shying away?'

'You have not kissed her yet.'

'She is twenty now, how long before she leaves you?'

With the justifications that he got, Aile became more daring and started with a gentle caress all over her body. Which then led to feeling, pinching and rubbing, while he kissed her face and neck.

Leia was shy initially but soon got the courage to continue on. She responded excitedly, tracing her hand over his body and quickly experiencing it under his shirt. Aile noticed this, and he took the same approach, only he could not find the place to enter under her skin-suit, which seemed to be impregnable. He did not want to stop kissing her to look for a way in.

After he failed a few times, he decided to go for her lips. He brought his face close to hers, and he kissed. He savoured the soft and smooth feeling of her glossy lips and then decided to invade her mouth with his tongue.

Her teethes were acting as a barrier. Aile lowered a hand to her bouncy backside and then squeezed rubbed and pinched it. Making her mouth opened in surprise, enough to be invaded by his tongue.

This experience was completely different, as she had an icy-fresh and sweet feel to her mouth. Aile suddenly realized that his lust was ever-increasing, and he checked on his soul. He noticed that the dark side had covered 60 percent of his soul as it kept on pulsating in excitement.

Aile got back out, stopped kissing and slowly disentangled from Leia and immediately sat down and started to run the light element cultivation. After a few minutes, Aile calmed down only to see Leia sitting next to him with a disappointed look.

Aile apologized to her and only got a reluctant nod.

Aile then placed his hand around her and held her close. He did not want to be controlled by his emotions, since every time it got out of control, it would improve and enhance the dark element side.

However, this was not the same as cultivating, as the improvement was wild in nature. This would make him prone to losing control and triggering the dark element even more later. Which would intensify his emotions again and growth of dark-element, continuing the cycle?

Leia then would look at him and then turn her face away. This happened a few times, and Aile knew she had something in her mind.

He could not hold back and ask, "What is on your mind?"

"Do you regret it?"

Aile asked surprisingly, "What?"

Leia said meekly, "Do you regret that I was wedded to you along with Laila?"

Aile held her to show his support and responded affirmatively, "You are my beautiful wife, why would I regret marrying you?"

Leia had a simper on her face after but suppressed it, "But you do not like me."
