Chapter 137 - News from Fort Bot

Aile was sad too, but he did not want to inform Hazel of such a short amount of time they had. He was afraid that she will make a rash move. After calming her down, he told her, that they will not be sending the other leaves to Sara as they will have a similar effect. Hazel nodded, and after coaxing her for a bit, she calmed down. She seemed to have noticed the concern and worry on Aile's eye and asked if there was any other problem.

Aile told her, it was fine and recounted to her that she should go with him on a mission to the burial place of the hidden sect. This changed the atmosphere a bit and thinking and getting ready for the trip made Hazel cheer up a bit. With that Hazel had to hand over some responsibility to her underlings. Therefore she left to get her people ready and choose a temporary leader in her absence.

Aile then went to inform Leia. Aile arrived into her room and saw she and Zero were chatting. Aile talked with both of them and then told Zero privately to pass the news to Three, that the people he needed as assassins will be sent by Beshoy in the next two days. Aile then told both of them about his trip to the burial site. Aile saw some sadness in Leia's eyes as she still had not mastered the technique to hid her dual-element nature. Zero once again volunteered to go with him.

Aile then told them to master the concealing technique, and then he will consider taking them both on a different mission. Aile also told Leia to pass the traceless concealing-technique to Hazel, Emily and Zero so that they could learn it too.

She nodded happily, having more people learn the method will allow all of them to progress faster. As different people view the technique differently, and every time one of them gets it right, they could share it and improve as a group. This will allow her to master the traceless technique quicker, and she would be able to go on missions with Aile sooner.

Before leaving, Aile told Zero to bring the two bandit sisters to the mansion and set them up in one of the rooms at the outskirts of the main building. Aile failed to notice the annoyed gleam on Zero's face after she heard that.

After talking with them, Aile left to find One and Two, he told them to get ready for the trade tomorrow. Having them in the return journey will bring Aile a peace of mind.

Aile was going to get his blade and other stuff ready when he noticed Emily going towards the entrance quickly. Aile followed her, seeing her in a worried state.

He followed her and saw that Fiona had arrived at the entrance. This surprised Aile, and soon after, he heard their conversation. Then the urgency made sense to Aile. Apparently, they found a hidden passage in their castle at Fort Bot, and it was releasing a lot of energy.

They have tried to suppress the news, but it will not be long until people notice the increased amount of energy in the castle.

Therefore she came here in a hurry to bring Emily and hide whatever is releasing the energy in the spatial treasure. Aile arrived and talked with them too. They gave him a similar recount of what was happening, and Emily bid farewell to Aile and was planning to leave immediately. Aile made her wait for 1 hour. He also told people to get them a better mount on the journey back to make up for the lost time.

In the meantime, Aile called Fiona to talk as Emily was getting ready. First, he asked for her cultivation method. She gave it to him, and Aile spent some energy to upgrade it for her. In the meantime, he chatted with her, and it did not take long before they were acting intimately. She was sitting on his lap as Aile's hands roamed her body and their mouths connected into a passionate kiss. Fiona knew of the little time they had and did not want to stop Aile's increasing intimate actions. After 20 minutes as Aile's hand were under her dress moulding her mounds, the door was knocked.

Reluctantly they stopped, and the food that Aile had requested arrived. With a flushed face, Fiona had the meal as Aile fed her lovingly. Soon her cultivation method was improved by the Heavenly Book of Myriad Stars, and Aile gave her the new cultivation method, Water's Dance.

After that, Emily arrived and ate some with the both of them, of course, Fiona's blushing face and the intimate way that Aile fed her, did not go unnoticed by her. She leaned and kissed him too. Noticing his neglect towards her, Aile pulled her closer and started to feed both of them, causing them to blush due to his intimate action. Soon 45 minutes had passed, and Emily and Fiona left towards their ride. Leia, Zero, Diana and Hazel gathered. Emily went and whispered something to them, causing the group to smile and blush. Then the two of them travelled towards Fort Bot.

Aile had offered to go with them to check the place. However, Emily said it was unnecessary, as he will come there soon. She also said that they have a sealing talisman to seal the entrance, in case of a problem, or if they do not manage to find the source of the energy fluctuations. Something that was high level and they would only use in the worst case.

So he should focus on his trip and just visit later.

Aile agreed, and he was happy that he also managed to help Fiona with her cultivation. She would not fall behind everyone else, removing one of his concerns.

With a calmer mind, he can focus on finding traces of runes and any books on souls at the tomb. He can use any information to see if he can help Hazel and Sara, in his search at the burial location of the hidden sect. At the very least, he would consider it a successful trip if he finds a clue on how to help them.

Aile then got his stuff ready; the blade, the poison infused dagger, the chain-mail, some talisman and other stuff.

He kept some of his stuff in the ring while keeping the rest on the back of his ride. As he did not want people to know about his spatial treasure. He did not want to create a problem when it can easily be avoided. He readied two more rides one for Hazel and one for Ellie.

He went back to his room and found Leia and Zero together once again, he greeted them and noticed that they were getting along. Aile did not bother with them, and he decided to come with a few strategies. As he, along with Hazel, will be leaving, and the political climate was not good. Therefore, he was coming up with strategies that would ensure the safety of each business and his people while he was away.

In the worst case, the safest place was, of course, the mansion. Over the years, Aile has created a web of runes around the estate, consisting of different Spirit Runes. His people knew how to activate them. The simple runes can become deadly after they become Spirit Runes as they get stronger over time. The Spirit Fire Gather Rune would keep on absorbing the fire element after it is created empowering itself. With the many years that some of the Fire Gathering Runes gathered energy, each one could be a devastating bomb.

He had placed one of them at each location that had been under his control, including the gates. In the worst-case, his trusted people would go to a hidden bunker as the runes levelled the town. However, that was not Aile's intension, he did not want to lose the cash cow that Port Kiar had become. So he devised means to distract everyone, generate conflicts and make the town people worried, delaying the need for a violent outcome while he was gone. After creating some strategies, he left them for Three. He was the best person to utilize them. Noticing that Zero and Leia still were discussing some topics with each other, Aile went to sleep on the bed. He will not have any comfortable place like this for a while. Lying down, he remembered Sara, Sophie and Laila and missed them.

The daily meeting with Sara was an essential part of his life, and without her, the mornings had become a bit dull. He was excited to meet her soon, but he was more worried. He did not want to lose her. The worst part was he did not know even the first step that he could take to save her. With all the advantages that he had, he was still unable to find a cure for one of the people dear to him.
