Chapter 192 - Violet's change of perspective

Meanwhile, Violet's eyes and mind were all over the place. Since her return, Hunter has been making her dress as a high ranking guard in their headquarter. She was hiding in the most obvious place. This way, she would be protected by Hunter and yet at the same time not face the danger of being targeted. He was making her guard unnecessary rooms or things to give her freedom.

Consequently, not making it obvious for people to guess her identity. She had been in a single room guarding and sitting outside the room door in the day and sleeping inside. She had noticed that all those who hate her presence and rank were commoner section employed women. Without backing, they were used and abused by anyone with a bit of status.

Even lower-ranking ones used their superiors' as backing for their evil deeds. Violet was told that the higher-ranking women paid no heed to their plea. Some did not care, others found that they would be less troubled being approached and troubled at fighting for the common women, so they gave up too. Their anger-filled eyes were also there for another reason. As some had been betrayed and pushed into the frying pan by the high-status women, who were their superior. Some of the stuff she had discussed with Hazel was resonating with her. She had previously just taken her talk with her as a girlfriend trying to protect her boyfriend. However, seeing how blind she was about the things around her, she could not help but wonder if the other claims were true too.

The first thing she wanted to do was confront her father, she could not believe that he would let all of this happen under their noses. Halfway there she heard a plan that was hatched against Ellie's maid. She changed her mind and found the maid first giving her instruction to leave and stay somewhere outside for a few days. She would let Ellie know, and together they will help her later. As with Ellie gone, her maid no longer had protection.

She then went to find Hunter. Violet entered his office and waited for him there. Knowing that apart from a few important people, no one would enter his office and she could talk with him there without worry. Violet was also the only other person who had his office's key, so meeting him there would be easy. She sat there waiting for him, and after 30 minutes, she heard the sound of people talking outside the room. Some people were going to come with Hunter today of all the days. She could not be seen here, as it would raise too many questions, and the very fact of hiding her identity would become useless. Therefore, she had to hide, and she did under the large guest chair that had a cloth curtain covering underneath it. She was not going to get caught as the chair was not one of those that could be moved, the large chair was stationary in front of Hunter's desk. Holding her breath and using the method she learnt from Aile, One, Two, Three and Four, she hid her presence to not make them suspicious and waited.
