Chapter 199 - Unexpected Response to his Appearance 

Soon enough, everything made sense to Aile. It was clear to Aile that these people came here to make trouble. Aile was sure of Sara and Sophie's safety at the moment, so he wanted to find out what was going on. The old men made the claim that their young heir was swooned by Sara and Sophie, and they took the advantage to make him lose all his money without any return. So they wanted Sara and Sophie to either return the money or gave their heir a romantic opportunity with them.

The only reply he got was from Sara, "Shameless idiots, scram I don't want to waste my day here."

The old men acted more brazen, but they were mostly ignored by Sara and Sophie. Then the main event started came from the crowd a nobleman and his people. Acting like the hero, he showed off and pushed the aggressors away.

He was acting as the perfect hero, Aile was on guard because something felt off. No one would create such an expectant setup. But he was more at ease because Aile had detected Emily keeping an eye on the situation. Knowing that it all seemed under control, he did not want to interfere and ruin some ready-made plan of Emily and the others. However, his vigilance remained heightened.

In a brief second the nobleman threw a ball that released a smoke towards Sara, Sophie and their two protectors. The cloud of gas was made from a combination of purple and blue. It was quite dense and had a wide dispersal area. Aile saw one of the protectors and Sophie, immediately took out a talisman and activated. It was an alert talisman to request for help. After which they tried to get rid of the gas. Aile recognized the gas as a sleeping agent. Seeing how Sara and Sophie rotated their energy, to fight back against its effect, Aile just stood there. Knowing that they were safe and he could protect them at any instant Aile did not want to step in and prevent them from learning something from this underhanded fight. This was to make sure they remain vigilant next time. If they were in any danger, he would interfere, not to mention Emily was there too.

The nobleman laughed lewdly, saying to the crowd, "You all heard them agree to become my concubines, right? I will take them with me now."

Aile could hear the people scoff at his words.

"How many times is he going to claim such a thing!"

"He is from the top family he is going to try as many time as he wants."

"Another poor victim."

"Old man those two are part of the rich merchant and adventurer group, the star one that recently joined the town, this is going to be a big deal."

Just as the nobleman stepped towards them, a blue dressed person dashed towards the nobleman with intent to fight and injure. Seeing the new person's arrival and its fast speed, Aile concluded that he needed to stay close to Sara and Sophie now.

The blue coloured clothed individual was too fast. Aile would not be able to fight to protect Sara and Sophie from afar as the speed he showcased was quick. Not caring about ruining any of their plans, Aile appeared in front of Sara and Sophie and touched their shoulders. Sending them a light restoration affinity element curing them of the sleeping agent.

When he touched them, taking Aile's attempt as hostile the person that was going to fight the lewd nobleman changed its trajectory and came to kick Aile. Aile threw a few projectiles forcing it back and buying himself enough time to heal both Sara and Sophie.

As the person moved back, he took his anger on the lewd noble by knocking him out with a kick to the chin. With a painful shout, he got knocked out.

After stabilizing, the masked person stretched a little and stopped any offensive action. Once the masked person stopped moving, Aile could see a mildly-curvaceous body, with a beautiful blue dress. Her movement somehow prevented people from identifying her previously, a high-level technique that Aile took note of. Seeing Aile, she even lowered her guard, once she saw them cured. She then came to Sara and Sophie, "I am leaving today, have you two decided to come with me?" She completely ignored Aile, and her feminine voice was clearly altered to prevent people from identifying her.

Aile interjected, "They will not be going anywhere." Aile was ready to start a fight, he was not sure of what was happening, but his senses and premonition were shouting at him to stop this.

Sara snorted and was about to say something, but hearing his stern tone, she remained quiet.

The lady in blue sighed. She could clearly see the happy and eyes full of longing on the both of them and new saying anything else would be pointless. She disappeared after saying, "Alright suit yourselves, I will be back in a month, you will have another opportunity then. That will be the last."

Saying that and ignoring Aile, she disappeared. Contrary to the cheerful welcome he expected, Aile got an angry glare from Sara. Sophie was looking at Sara and then Aile as if she was taking some sort of permission from her. In the end, she did not speak and nodded at Aile and avoided looking at him after. Aile thought that perhaps he had stopped their plan or they were pissed at him for not coming here sooner. Either way, they will need to be coaxed, but here was not the place to solve it. Aile gave them a smile even though it was hidden behind his mask and asked them if they wanted to go with him.

Sara still with an angry expression, nodded.

Emily did not appear and waved at him from afar and hinted at him to talk later. Aile pointed at the nobleman and asked, "Is he important?"
