Chapter 200 - Some things do not Change

Sophie said quickly, "One of the heirs of the most influential families."

"Oh, then I guess it will be good to make him an example."

Aile went to the group of guards that were trying to wake up their young master and knocked them out. Then tied his leg with a rope and the rope to his mount.

However, his mount was commandeered by Sara and Sophie, so he had to share one with Xue.

To the surprise of everyone, Aile who was following Sara and Sophie went towards their mansion in town. The thing that made everyone's jaw drop was what was being dragged behind Aile's mount.

The most overbearing young master of the town was being pulled by Aile and Xue's mount, like an animal.

"Did you see that?"

"We need to go, something big is going to happen!"

"Inform the patriarch!"

The action Aile had conducted was not harmful to this overbearing noble, as his armour would prevent him from getting hurt anywhere. However, it was deeply humiliating. Aile did not want to act overbearing the first second he reached here, but he could not go too easy either. His people could not be bullied. Not to mention people that were close to him. So he went for the humiliation path until Aile gets a better understanding of their influence in here. Then he will decide on what to do. However, from Emily's response to not caring, it seemed that he did not need to worry too much.

The next part of the travel was very awkward. Sara and Sophie did not speak and ignored Aile. The last time Aile saw them, they were both clinging onto him and would never do something like this. However, seeing that they had changed so much over the past years, Aile could only sigh so much time had passed, he could not expect the same treatment immediately. They were also followed by the crowd. Aile held on to the unlikely hope that Sara and Sophie had acted reserved because of them. Taking short glances at them, Aile found them familiar and yet very different than before. Aile could not wait to see them without a veil covering them and in privacy to find out what is going on.

Fortunately, a sweet stall arrived, and Aile bought some sweet bread and seeing Sara body moved a little Aile knew that at least somethings did not change. Aile had been paying attention to the two to figure out what is going on. While his hand naturally held Xue's waist in the mount, an action that made Sara and Sophie more annoyed.

"Where are you taking me?"

"You bastard, do you know who I am?"

"Do you want to die?"

"Let me go!"

"Where are those damn guards, those useless bastards left me when I needed them."

"Let me go!"

After waking up, the nobleman started with a barrage of questions, complaint and threats. If anything his squeals brought the extra humiliation to him as the crowd increased following their procession like royalty.

Sara and Sophie were deliberately making the mounts move slower to gather a larger crowd and humiliate him more. Fortunately, they travelled for a short distance before they reached a large compound guarded by the same guard like the ones on top of the towns outer walls. They were wearing Star Merchant Union's insignia.

Aile could guess that it was their property as it was on the base of the mountain and at the centre of the town. It was also the only way to the Fort at the top of the mountain.

Seeing Sophie and Sara, they respectfully parted ways to let them enter. However, the squealing nobleman got their attention and seeing his face and recognizing him. The captain made a move with his hand that made the guards stand extra vigilant. They knew that soon something big would happen and they would be the first line facing the problem. They all changed their stance and just accepted the fact, as it was in front of them getting ready for what's to come.

Seeing the guards unfazed by this, made Aile proud and would make sure to reward Fiona and Emily for such loyal guards.

"You guard vermins, you are from Fort Bot..."

"Untie me immediately..."

"This is my territory, do you want to go against me?"

Yet the nobleman was once again shouting and being ignored. Soon after the door of the main gate shut behind them, a new group of guards came and looked at the nobleman.

"Misses, what are your orders!"

Aile said, "Please bring our guests some food, water and fruits, we can not be a bad host!"

The guards looked at Sara and Sophie, and after getting a nod from them, a few of them ran to get the stuff ready. While the rest wanted to know who Aile was an what he was planning. They knew their misses and discerned that they would not do this to the noble. So this left Xue, who seems somewhat familiar and Aile, responsible for this action. Sara and Sophie also paid attention to him. They had learnt a lot from him and his unique methods and views always interested them. They knew full well that this nobleman would not be treated well like Aile made it sound, so they wanted to learn from him again. The curious feeling was something both of them missed.

Aile then tied the two hands of the nobleman and lifted him up in a tree, making his feet barely touch the ground on his tiptoes. Then the food was placed under him, and Aile gave him an opportunity that he will be let go if he manages to eat half of the stuff with his feet. While he had to list one crime he committed, every 2 minutes. Aile secretly gave 3 guards recording crystals to make a record of his humiliation and possibly his crimes so that it could be used as blackmail material in the future.
