Chapter 201 - Silent treatment and misplaced gratitude 

Aile then left him as he with Xue, Sara and Sophie headed towards the interior of the estate. The design was based similarly to the estate at Port Kiar, it seems that they did not want to change the basic layout much from the previous mansion. However, there were many differences. The residential area was quite different as unlike before it was not all one building. But a few elegant buildings that separated by short distances and connected elaborately. It looked beautiful, and the glossy smooth reflective surface made it seem very different from the town. It was like an elegant multicoloured flower in a field of monochrome flowers.

While Aile was observing everything with a smile and his mask removed, the eyes of Sara and Sophie were glued onto him. They watched his smile, surprised face and felt his happiness seeing and praising the estate and their choices here. A lot of this was based on Fiona, Emily, Sara and Sophie's ideas and designs. Who would not be happy when their work is appreciated? Especially, if the praise came from the person who all the change was made for. It was hard to maintain their anger seeing his appreciation of their hard work.

Emily too had appeared, but let Sara and Sophie have their time with him. Unlike the girls who solely focused on Aile, she also noticed Xue whos focus was on Aile. Xue did not seem interested in the beautiful architecture or their effort in creating this place, as of now, she had a higher priority to view.

Emily could not fault her either, she would have done the same. She just smiled bitterly, knowing that her and Fiona's effort of keeping her away from him this while did not change her opinion nor did she find someone else as a replacement.

Emily, too, was tempted to run and jump for a hug and kiss. But she had seen him a few days ago while the girls have been missing him for a long time, so she waited longer for them to sort out everything before appearing. She also remembered the difficult talk she had with them, something that Aile needs to sort out with Sara and Sophie himself.

While no sound-based communication happened between Sara Sophie and Aile, as they manifested their anger this way. However, Using their gaze, they guided Aile to experience their home.

There was a smooth straight path to the residence, the one they took was zig-zagged, and the more Aile praised their effort, the slower they moved to observe everything. Reaching close to the mansion, he heard, "Aile, you are here!"

Running at him was Fiona with her shoulder-length silver hair fluttering in the wind. While her light blue eyes only detected Aile, as she threw herself into his embrace. She gave him a kiss and rubbed herself onto him, not caring about the others in here. "How is our mansion, did you like it?"

"Wonderful, how could it not be with so many smart, creative beauties designing it!" Aile's genuine feeling was conveyed through his words as he was still amazed by it.

Smiling and nodding at Aile, she let him go and finally noticed everyone. She greeted them, and when she met Xue, she had an awkward smile on her face. She then said, "Sara and Sophie will help you out for a while now. I have something to do, I will meet you later."

Aile gave her a goodbye hug and transmitted to her the situation at the shifting forest. He asked her to send someone to check on Hazel, after giving her a quick recount of what happened with Mei, Guang and Heian. Aile also asked her to send the news that everything in Fort Bot is safe and Leia, Zero and the other could come here. He kissed her again, and she left with a smile.

She was thinking good luck, as Aile had a lot of explaining to do to Sara and Sophie. While they were interested to hear about the fact that Sara told them she could die, they would respect their privacy and would find out about it later.

Emily intercepted Fiona and asked about what happened. The two of them then called someone to become the messenger and find out about Hazel's situation.

Aile and Xue were guided to the mansion, and the direction they took was towards the eastern side. As they travelled through different corridors that reflected light in a slightly different way each time making that specific area they reached, different and unique. They finally arrived at the most eastern part. The journey did enchant them as each segment brought a different feel to it. Just walking the corridors made one feel charmed by the building. In the end, they reached a large room luxuriously equipped and with an expansive view of the estate and the town.

As they went towards the centre of the town and mountain, they were at a higher altitude. Not to mention a room at 15 meters in height. This allowed the room facing the town to get the view of the whole place. Waking up to such a scene would make one feel blessed. At this moment, Sara spoke to Xue, "This is your place, settle down, and a maid will come and take you to the dining room after a while."

Xue looked around and was happy to be in a luxurious room and gave Aile a hug saying, "Thank you!" She knew that this time her treatment was better because of Aile. She had arrived before and was not given such a room, and she also wanted to kiss him as they will be separated, but since more people were here, she settled for a hug. Unaware that her treatment and this room had very little to do with Aile. She was just given the room with the furthest distance away from where Aile will be by Sara and Sophie. They had not forgotten how Aile held onto her waist so naturally.
