When my wife and son died, I became a workaholic person. Every day I woke up just to help the royal court. People in my country calls me a work demon because I'm strict. But still many people pitied me and believed that I only became strict because of my lose.
Many years has passed since then and I suddenly heard a news. When a rumor started spreading that the God of war had blue eyes, I became curious of his identity. I then made a plan and went to Asterin upon hearing that and volunteered to be an envoy.
When I arrived at the general's mansion, Auden my student in politics greeted me and escorted me to the living room. After a long conversation, Luke appeared and Auden said goodbye. Then Luke and I were able to have a short chat.
A week later, I saw Luke with a girl. I walked towards them, but when I approached them, a soldier informed us that the king requests our presence. With the kings order, the General and I went to the royal hall as we greeted the king. The hall was in chaos but somehow they calmed down and the king told us that Esmond is going to wage war against the two kingdoms.
In the next day, I went back to my kingdom. But on my way, I came across an old orphanage. I then stopped by the orphanage and suddenly the caretaker approached me. She told me where Luke came from and that Luke's mother was named Andrea. After hearing what the caretaker said, I told her that my lost wife is Andrea. Then I realize that Luke was my son.
I immediately went to Caspin and told the news to the king. He gave me soldiers and ordered me to be the kingdom's army leader as we fight Esmond. I travelled back to the borders of Asterin and Esmond and searched for Luke. After hours of searching, I finally found him in one of the cities of Asterin.
I then went to him and we greeted each other. I told him that I want to talk to him but he refused and told me that I should wait. After telling me to wait, I then apologized to him as I found myself not being proper because of my excitement.
When Luke opened the door, we saw the armies of Esmond surrounding the gate. I told Luke to immediately run but he didn't listen and told the soldiers to fight the enemy. As we battled Esmond's soldiers, I saw Luke lying on the ground. I quickly ran towards him and put his head in my arm as he said his last words.
The next day, I gave Amara Luke's letter and told her that Luke loves her. After the conversation ended, I went back to Caspin. While in the carriage, I told myself that even though my son is now gone, I was still glad to see him again.
