Awake

Drip! Drop! Drip! The sensation of water trickling down her face and body caused her to awaken, her eyes opening wide. She stared up at the dark sky as it poured its tears of sorrow onto the muddy earth. She moved her body trying to get up only for sharp pain to trigger throughout her entire body.

Pain!PAIN! She was actually feeling pain! The realization of the fact awoke her from any drowsiness she previously felt. She had actually not died and was alive, the realization brought shock and happiness along with fear that this may be a dream. She raises her hand to block her eyes from the rain only to be shocked by what she sees. This hand, it's not her hand, not the soft white hand of the adult Princess born and bred in a Palace, rather this was the hand of a small child, tiny yet it was filled with scars and looked rough and slightly dark.

Bearing the pain she sat up from the bed and looked around her surroundings. This was a small room with only the old wooden bed, a large wooden box beside the bed and two medium pots in another corner of the room, but the problem was that this small room was rundown and had a few small holes on the wall and even parts of the roof was missing causing the rain water to drip down into the room.

Thunderstruck by what had happened, she realized that she had actually been reincarnated into another body in a different world, this current body is in a Kingdom known as Dalong. This body was also only a small child of six, who lived in an old mountain . She tried to get up only for her legs to grow weak and her head became so dizzy that she almost fainted on the spot.

Managing to support herself by holding onto the edge of the bed she decided that that this current body was too weak and the added hunger only made it worse, at this rate she wouldn't even be able to walk two steps before she collapsed. She decided that she would leave everything on the side and first get some rest to recuperate and then figure out what's happening and what she was going to do.

Finalizing her decision she got back onto the bed and curled up on the only corner on the bed left dry from the rain. She closed her eyes and fell asleep only for the memories of the original owner to rush into her dreams as she lay in a semi coma stage.
