"Akalain mo yon?" Elyse said as she throws the magazine in the center table "Nagpadala lang siya ng kwintas?" she hissed at her best friend who is currently busy watching dramas on their television.

"Ah, tapos?" Aliyah asked not paying attention at her best friend

"Anong ah tapos? It was my party! Tapos hindi siya dumating?!" Elyse said as she eyed at the box of the necklace her brother brought to her

Aliyah eyed her best friend "Maybe he has important thing to do? It was just a party and it was yours not his, so, it is not a big deal" she looks at the necklace "And he gave you a compensation"

Elyse is not yet done throwing a tantrum "It was my party for him! Like duh! I invited all of the best out of the best woman that I knew!" she pouted

"Party for him? For what?"

"Duh. Para hindi siya mamatay ng single" Elyse rolled her eyes "I chose the best I could find through my resources tapos sasayangin nya lang ng ganon ang efforts ko" she exclaimed

Aliyah paused the drama she's been watching "I thought you don't approve other women to be your sister-in-law"

"Unless it's you" Elyse continued "But it was different now, hindi mo yata hihiwalayan yang koala mong boyfriend eh" she stood up as she goes into their kitchen "Hindi naman pwedeng masayang ang lahi namin. He is now too busy with work di na nya yata alam umuwi eh it's been more than half a year since I saw him and ako pa talaga pumunta sa Manila ha? To see him" she said in disbelief

"I heard from my father that he is in charge of the big project," Aliyah said as she continues watching her drama.

Her tears were ready to fall while watching the drama when suddenly their doorbell rang. Aliyah immediately stood up and go to the door because she is expecting someone.

"Ano ba yan iiyak na yung tao eh!" reklamo ni Elyse as she eyed the visitor of Aliyah "Oh hello again kabit!" she greeted as she walked to the kitchen to calm her nerves

Going to the kitchen she mutters "Bahay namin 'to ni Aliyah pero sila mukhang may-ari, ako ang thirdwheel na kabit" she eyed Gio who was sitting in the couch with Aliyah in the living room "Eh siya naman ang kabit"

Looking at his girlfriend, he held her hands, "Is this okay to your best friend?"

"Don't worry about her, let her curse you first after that she's okay na" she reassured him

Gio sighed "Is it tiring that we have to hide like this? Sorry" he whispers as he strokes her hair

Aliyah looked at him "it's not tiring. You don't have to worry" she smiles, "I'm a homebody remember?"

Gio hugs her tight as he said "I love you"

"Oh right!" Aliyah said as she looks at Gio "Would you like to go to the beach this weekend?"

"Huh? Why?" Gio questioned her

"Let's go to the beach it's summer you know" Aliyah hold his hands while convincing him

He looked at her "But your parents?"

Aliyah shakes her head "My parents have a business trip the whole week, so I am free!" she smiled "Let's go to the beach? Hmm?" she said while persuading him

"Alright" Gio sighed

Elyse sat on the couch across of the two lovers "I'll get ready too!" singit nya while sipping on her Americano "Ang pait!" she said as she ran to their kitchen to rinse off the bittertaste in her tounge

Aliyah eyed her best friend but before she could nag at her she already fled at their kitchen, looking back at her boyfriend "I'll talk to her" she sighed

"It's okay I know how hardheaded your best friend is" he looked at her caress her hands "It's good that we can spend time with each other at a different place"

Aliyah smiled "Thanks" she couldn't believe how considerate her boyfriend is 'I'm really lucky' she thought

"Oh, buti alam mo" sabi ni Elyse while holding a cup of hot chocolate

"Elyse" Aliyah warned

Elyse look at her and crossed her arms "Bakit ba ayaw ko pa maging ninang no" she said and sat on the couch "We promised na sabay tayo magbebear ng human being in our tummy"

"Viana Elyse!" sigaw ni Aliyah at nagtatakbo sa pwesto ni Elyse while her face reddened.

"Bakit ba!" sabi ni Elyse at nagtatakbo na sa kusina "Nagsasabi lang ng totoo eh!"

Sunrays hitting her pale skin Aliyah removed her glasses as she looked at the calm waves' miles away from her, "It is so great to be here!" she exclaimed as she breathe the fresh air.

Gio intertwined their fingers, looking at her "It is great to have you here"

Elyse who is used to their affection or to be specific Gio's affection, she scoffed as she clings her arms to Aliyah "It is so sunny let's go to our room na" she drags her "Bye kabit see you later!" she waves teasingly at Gio "Or could it be never?" she mumbled

Agad naman na binatukan ni Aliyah si Elyse "Watch your mouth Elyse that's my boyfriend, baka gusto mo ikaw di ko kitain habang buhay" she said as she walks towards their room

"Napakaharsh mo talaga sa cute na nilalang na ito" Elyse said as she followed her best friend

Elyse was staring at her best friend's outfit "You look amazing!" she complimented but gave her a complicated look

Aliyah noticed the complicated look she has been receiving from her best friend who is now wearing a swimsuit showing off her perfect physique, 'I think having a good physique was in Diaz bloodline' she thought she eyed her best friend asking her, "What?"

"Rush guard? Long sleeves?" she said in disbelief

"What's wrong with it?" Aliyah asked "Magswiswimming tayo right?" paninigurado niya as she looked at her Elyse

"Of course, duh" Elyse exclaimed "But your outfit was so wrong!" giit nito sa kanya

"What is wrong it's a swimming outfit right?"

"What's wrong with you Aliyah?" Elyse asked as she holds her best friend's shoulder "This is so not you! Where is my best friend who loves to flaunt her body?"

"Am I like that?" tanong ni Aliyah "I just want to try something new" she shrugs as she removes Elyse' hands on her shoulders and walks towards their door

"Try something new? Do not fool me, I know may kinalaman na naman 'yong koala na kabit na yon" Elyse said as she put sunblock in her body

"Ayaw ko lang pagmulan 'to nang away namin" Elyse said as she opens their door "We are here to have fun and have some good memories to recall," she said before closing the door leaving Elyse behind.
